I was here for a delivery after hours so i had to use the intercom to get in the gate. I explained that i was there for a delivery but the security guard would not open the gate for me and kept hanging up. After multiple attempts, she stopped answering the calls altogether. Assuming she couldn’t hear me i left my truck and walked around the building to try another intercom, explained that i was there for a drop, she doesn’t say anything but i hear her quietly laughing. After i get back to the truck, i call one more time and the gate finally opens. When i finished the drop i asked the yard jockey if there’s a direct line i can use to call someone to open the gate since i had trouble the first time. He said he doesn’t know why she didn’t let me in, that the supervisor was the one to open it, and that he would be there to open it when i get back. Just a strange and frustrating experience, especially right after a 10hr drive. 3 stars for the clean lot and for the yard jockey and supervisor making my job easier.

Hello, Saia TeamWe were very impressed today when a driver came to our building to deliver BL # 262881706.We were assisted with the utmost Excellence by Robert de Jesus, who with a true smile and eager will to help told about the cargo he was delivering.What was different at this time, is that we were immediately realized that we were not dealing with just a driver, as usual, but with a real Ambassador from Saia.From receiving many deliveries by a large truck, for about 20 years, we do not really recall dealing with someone so professional, knowledgeable, and aboveall with the true smile and will to make a difference!Robert immediately explained what the deliver was, how many pieces, so we could verify that a simple hand truck would be sufficient to handle it.It was for sure the very first time in which we were indeed quite impressed with the level of customer service from a truck driver for a trucking company.Robert made the delivery a breeze, very quick, secure, and showed that he really cared about the item been transported and delivered.His truck all way to the back was organized, cargo secure as we could visualize, and completely cleaned.What a joy to have met him and be assisted by him, rephrasing again, with the highest Excellence!Please personally let him know about our appreciation!Thank you so much, Roberto de Jesus, for making such difference as a True Ambassador for SAIA.Sam Dias

The SAIA shipping company - Miami Branch is very non-caring about their customers. I am expecting a delivery for products that I need desperately or else I will lose business. They were to deliver the week before on Thursday or Friday - They called to say they will deliver on Monday August 21, then they put off delivery until Tuesday, then Wednesday, then Thursday and now they say Friday and if I did not call personally and speak with a nice lady that works there, they would probably not deliver on Friday because THEY lost the Bill of Lading!!!!!! I wish they would realize that when we don't get our products, we lose business and can't pay our staff or our bills.Later today: I just want to add that I just spoke with Sheryl who is an amazing, caring worker for SAIA. She followed up on my call and worked with the Manager of the warehouse to solve the problem. She called back with the great news that my shipment will be delivered tomorrow- Friday.

This is the worst company. I would have given them 0 stars if I could. My shipment arrived Miami terminal Wednesday at 2:36 AM and was loaded to be delivered 9:57Am Wednesday. It is Friday 1;45 PM and I have had 4 different times for delivery Thursday and now Friday. Now I know why they only have 3 star rating .

Horrible had a shipment with a pro number coming today from 1 to 5 and no call nothing now you have to call customer service and nobody answers I didn’t have a choice of shipper but I hope no companies keep using these guys horrendous still waiting with no information

If there were 0 stars, I would give it to this company. My employees had to get inside the truck and help the trucker unload a double door freezer, and push it themselves on the street. They had the nerve to call asking for extra people to help them unload the truck, because they don't have enough employees. I was charged an extra fee to have the trucker push the freezer inside the store and he (the driver) said that his boss gave him SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS not to do it.
