Great service when selling you the product but absolutely horrible in resolving problems with the furniture after the fact. i am going to post an email that we we were instructed to write to
[email protected] as well as
[email protected]. The lack of resolution has gotten so bad that we have had to engage the better business bureau. i will tell you do not buy their TEAK Furniture as they do not treat it and it will develop significant mold even if it is not directly exposed to the elements. Please see the email chain below and posted photos. To whom it may concern: I have to make a formal complaint regarding the above referenced order number..... I purchased the furniture on 5/29/2023. I took delivery of the furniture sometime in July or August. The furniture was delivered inside my house, and we were unable to put it outside until our outdoor construction was complete. We ended up finishing the construction around the first week of December and move the furniture outside under a covered structure in the second week of December. Within a month of being outside (with zero direct exposure to rain or sunlight) the furniture started to develop mold across the teak. We have other teak furniture under the same structure and the only furniture that developed mold was the furniture I purchased from Rooms to Go. We reached out to Rooms To Go Customer Care, and they sent a gentleman to my house to "treat" the furniture. This gentleman told my wife that the furniture "should not" be developing mold like this and he was unable to clean it off. Since his visit (less than a week ago) the mold has gotten much worse. I reached out to Rooms To Go again today to see what the "status" was, and they told me that the mold was "normal", and I should consistently treat the furniture with a mixture of bleach and water. I cannot imagine how the mold development on the Rooms To Go furniture is normal when the other teak furniture outside has not developed any signs of mold. I also cannot imagine how the development of mold is normal when the Rooms To Go Repair Man told my wife that this should not be happening to our furniture. I am also blown away that the "normal development of mold" was not communicated to me by the salesperson or store at the time of purchase (or we never would have purchased the furniture). We bought the most expensive patio set in the store and within a month of it being in its "designed" location it is developing mold. My wife who suffers from a few health issues will not sit on or use the furniture for fear of how it can affect her and when I call "customer service" the response I get is "that is normal, clean it consistently with 50% water and 50% bleach". This is new furniture, and this should not be happening. I am so incredibly disappointed with the lack of concern and the immediate dismissal of my issues. My wife and I originally choose furniture from Crate and Barrel and choose to go with Rooms To Go because of the warranty and look at where it got me. This is not the level of service I would expect from Rooms To Go. We continue to go back and forth with no help or resolution. I have since filed a claim with the better business bureau.

If you are considering Rooms to Go for its fabulous room packages, sales, and promotions, DON'T. It's all a scam wrapped up in polite, mediocre salesmanship. The only positive was that my associate was patient, and tried hard to try to explain their convoluted, no customer value added marketing program. My 1 star rating in no way reflects the effort of my sales associate but rather Rooms to Go sales tactics.

Super smooth ordering process and credit application. Ask for LANDY. He was super polite, very knowledgable, and answered all our questions! We ordered a dining room table that wasn’t in the showroom and he showed us another table from the same set so we can actually see the look and material. He’s committed to excellent customer service! I had a great experience!

We had an amazing experience with Napoleon. He was one of the most respectful and professional salesmen I’ve ever dealt with. Treated us like we were family and went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure we went home happy. Napoleon and rooms to go just got a customer for life.

We purchased over $10,000 worth of goods and we were sold two (2) items that would not work in our beds. When we tried to get credit, for the items that were never even delivered, we had to call over 10 times, waited on hold literally for hours, with no follow up. When we finally reached Morris, " an alleged manager" at the Miami Palmetto store on 167th St., he continually argued with us, was condescending and would not give us the full credit. We are now disputing it with our credit card company. You can buy these mattresses and other items at any other store for the same price. There are no bargains there. Stay far away from this company. It's a bloated bureaucracy and not customer friendly.

I visited the dadeland location to purchase a dinning table set. My experience was in that store has been the worst, my two month year old daughter was crying at the store and manager Alan decided to use her as a joke and topic of conversation with his co workers. This manager heard that my daughter was crying hysterically and began to ask his colleagues out loud in front of all customers and employees hey do you want a baby and laughed while my daughter laughed the comments proceeded and laughter stating oh not that baby referring to my daughter. As a new mom I felt very offended how my daughter and I were disrespected by this old adult who so happens to be a manager. I was not aware at the time this individual was a manager and politely told him that his comments and jokes using my daughter was not okay and out of line, he was so unprofessional and nasty towards me, never once I received an apology what I got instead was to be further ridicule in front of the entire store by him arguing with me and saying he could say whatever he wanted he not only did not apologize by further escalated the situation with his behavior, words towards me and then followed me while I left the store Locked the doors so I wouldn’t get inside anymore and stood behind the glass doors along with fellow employees while customers were still inside the store and laughed hysterically in my face and no one from the store asked him to stop. I felt harassed and embarrassed, it was honestly the worst experience as a customer I’ve ever had, I’ve spent over 6 thousand dollars in furniture at the rooms to go company and what I received as treatment was this. Alan should not be able to work in any store or in the customer service industry to top of my experiences he unlocked the door just a bit to yell at me that my daughter was crying and I should feed her since I don’t care about my daughter. The entire situation was missed handled by him and the professionalism at the store is terrible. The colleagues never once attempted to intervene in the situation to stop his harassment towards me as a new mom with my daughter in a stroller and my mother. It’s a shame such managers are in charge of a store if he could not handle his own error with a customer and fix it he can’t certainly address any customer complaint regarding any of his employees. No one has yet to reach out to me from rooms to go corporate to address this situation all I received was voicemail from his fellow colleague manager Levi thanks for sending your email sounds like a cover up to me to avoid having his buddy get in trouble or written up for his actions for this incident. The shorter chubby old man with a blue shirt on the pic is the manager Alan who disrespected me and my daughter at this store. If you care about your family and safety do not visit this store as no one should experience what I did. Children should not be used as a joke, if he loves joking about customers and their kids he should probably select a different career path and become a comedian instead of a manager of a furniture store.

Went to Rooms to Go at Dadeland, was greeted by William. He gave us the option to help us or let us look around. If you go in for something in specific, looking on your own is easy. It’s not overwhelming. Once we were done looking for fabric sofas we called William over and we were done really fast. Will be getting the sofas in 6 days. Not much of a wait, really happy with the buying process. Would come back to this location.

My name is Emily. Before we visit this rooms to go my boyfriend and I had gone to another one aside from going to other furniture stores. We could not find anything we had liked and in our price range. The moment we entered at this rooms to go Giovanni took care of us. His customer service was exceptional. He let us look around and gave us tips as fist time buyers. He helped us break it down and ask us exactly what we were looking for and he took from there. Whoever comes in this rooms to go, do yourself a favor and look for Giovanni. You will leave extremely happy and with a clear picture of every detail with the purchase you will be making.
