I was referred to them by an airport employee. I was a little skeptical bc the rental lot wasn't located on the airport premises but with no other choice for a rental I went. I was told from the start that it would be a $200 deposit & after I return the vehicle whatever toll fees inquired while I used would be taken out of the deposit. Which is all completely fine & understandable. I was then asked for my information & I provided everything the nice woman behind the counter had asked for & while doing so she went over the agreement / contract & once again explained that the only thing that I would see coming out from the deposit would be the tolls which she also made a point to state that most are less than a couple bucks so it shouldn't be anything expensive. I agreed & I explained to her that I would be spending the majority of my time on the beach & wanted to make sure that was alright. She said of course told me to enjoy & I went on my way to enjoy my vacation. On the day that the rental was due, I ended up returning the vehicle about 15 minutes late bc I had accidentally put in the wrong address & so when I pulled up the guy seemed a little annoyed but still drove me to the airport & as he was dropping me off at the terminal he mentioned that they may add an additional cleaning fee for the sand left in the vehicle. Mind you it was just myself traveling & the entire duration of my trip was spent on the beach so I kindly relayed the same message to him that the lady who gave me the keys when I first picked up the vehicle told me, she said it's Florida so there's going to be sand no matter what. Well I just received my bill & they charged an extra $118!! Such a scam with the deposit!! The vehicle had no damage or trash left inside or outside. Literally just a little sand from my shoes and my towels.
