I don't like writing negative reviews, but these Planet Fitness facilities require it.
I have visited other headquarters of this group on several occasions and this one is never tidy, the dumbbells are never in their place and there is no one who maintains any control over it, if you find one at the beginning of the room, it is possible that the other one is of the same weight Whether you find it in the bathroom or in the last corner of the room (in other locations there are people who every few minutes do a tour and organize everything), here no one does it.
So training becomes a walk around the gym to find something, the accessories are scarce and some are in poor condition.
The multipurpose cables require revision and the distribution of the machines also, such as the leg dam which is far from all the other leg machines. Not counting the countless cardio machines that no one uses, but the ones that fill up the most are the multipurpose ones and there are only 3.
Some are damaged and more people accumulate in that area that also does not have ample space, but you turn around and see the cardio area alone! unused machines, lost spaces, incomprehensible!
There is no cleaning, the bathrooms smell bad, the trash cans are full in the common areas (10pm), the few mirrors are dirty.
There is no maintenance of equipment and machines, some have been out of adjustment for weeks and others are not fixed to the ground and are stacked together. Not to mention that there are countless new machines on the market and PF seems to refuse to modernize as frequently as is currently required.
There is no security or supervision of the use of facilities and equipment. Presence of Homeless inside the gym, they use showers and toilets and some remain in the entrance room (woman in tops sleeping on one of the tables)
Although it is impossible to control the behavior and use that clients give to the facilities, it leaves a lot to think that there is no one, absolutely no one to supervise, groups of young people misusing and NOT using the machines, occupying them to talk by phone. telephone, recording videos for long periods of time without training or even sleeping or resting on them and people with erratic, incongruent and nervous behavior that is not my place to judge but that is uncomfortable.
I go 3 times a week on average and there is not a single day that this situation (all the previous ones) have been different, those at the front desk, with their heads immersed in their cell phones, I do not know the scope of their functions, but I know that (for example ) at the headquarters located in front of the Miami Dade College in Kendall, there were at least two people and they made tours to the facilities, they ordered, supplied paper and verified the liquid level of the disinfectants, they put the tarps in place, you could go to them at any time and for any situation because they were always nearby.
I was recently at one of the Hialeah headquarters, what a difference! I was very happy to train there, clean, tidy, everything available, more accessories and in better condition, ventilated, illuminated, time: 6pm. It is undoubtedly a management issue, one of will and investment.
I hope they improve! Unfortunately my comments are not different from those of many who are here, the things that are not in your control, assume them as your own because they are part of the feelings of many of your clients and offer good service, eloquent with the size of the establishment, with the numbers of users and high frequency schedules.
For less than this, the competition attracts more users, such is the case of Gym EOS Fitness and others that are doing much better in the market at the same price as your subscriptions.

Used to be a good gym, now it’s not. Must be under new management because the people who are here now for the past year are just ride. I give up on this place, stay away until new management is announced at this point. $10 or not I am ashamed this was my home gym.

Front desk ALWAYS on their phone, place is a mess. Weights never re-racked, foams missing, having to go up and tell them to refill the paper towel. Just makes it difficult to work out when for days in a row things are missing or strewn about the place. Please do better, it’s not that difficult to go around every hour and make sure the stations are functional. Didn’t want it to come to this but it’s been ridiculous for a few weeks now. Never opens on time. 3 times in a 7 day period and they can't make. It poor management, Update 6/24 Monday morning 5:45 am about 30 people here waiting to workout and gym still not open again same problem,Update again 7/8. 5:15 people waiting to workout gym still not open think it's time to find another gym poor management here

My son was followed into the restroom by a staff member, harassed, challenged to fight, and in a humiliating way thrown out, accused of not having a membership when in fact its been active and in good standings, meanwhile, this staff member sees his friends opening emergency door to let others in and turns around! I contacted corporate to only be told that the decision of my son being banned remains! and nothing was done! In the morning my wife was insulted, cursed at and intimated by male gym member, she told management that he's done this to her as well as other women! NO ACTION TAKEN! From what I see the staff here is biast, judge and jury. I would never ever recommend this gym to anyone it may be 10.00 a month, I guess you really get what you pay for!

My comment is not about the place even if it happens there. The reason for my rating is because many young people exercise and the device takes more than an hour between photos and conversations with other young people and preventing its use.

This planet fitness in general is over the top amazing!!! Everyone is super helpful, nice and friendly!!! There is an older couple that are super pleasant and hard working! Every time we encounter them they always have a friendly smile and keep the facility and bathrooms spotless. The manager here is amazing and always ready to help !!! I usually don’t write reviews but this place merits great reviews!!! Always glad to be greeted with a welcoming demeanor from all.
