Our Kids of Miami-Dade/Monroe, Inc. closed on June 30th, 2019. The new Full Case Management Agency overseeing Foster Care in Miami-Dade County is Citrus Family Care Network as of July 1st, 2019.

Unprofessional, roguish, uncaring, disrespectful, horrible workers and LIARS!!!!! Steer clear! They will do ANYTHING to lie and get children adopted that will end UP BACK in the foster system. They are disgusting, undermining liars and THEY WILL BE SUED! --- just watch and wait for the article!!! Whoever gave this company 5 stars must be a worker or someone who barely speaks English to understand or comprehend wth is going on!! You WILL BE SHUT DOWN JUST LIKE CHARLEE - ?How interesting my last review was a year ago and I just received the updated news that they lost their contract and all will now be handled by Citrus Health - I told you!!! You would be shut down! Never EVER do wrong to those that help you keep yourselves afloat - Enjoy the new journey of JOB SEEKING!

How do you leave a 0 rating? Where do I begin? I completed classes in Dec. Did background checks and all before taking the class. The lady who did my home inspection came to my house and all was well. She got sick and the ball was dropped. I guess nobody thought to pick up her cases. That's DCF for you. Now we are in May after chasing them and still nothing. No one will even call me back. Zero respect, zero accountability and then they make it seem like they are THE only option. Back to option 1. There are so many ways to help. DCF makes it impossible, but I feel I may have dodged a bullet by not dealing with Our Kids. Thank you Our Kids for nothing. THOSE who are trying to help, Don't give up! The kids still need us. There are other ways.

Case workers do NOT respond to the kids. Sick kids don't get the proper medical care. My student is 18 however she is in independent living. Its as if these kids are totally on their own! Case workers should at least answer when they are contacted. My student was told she had to make an appointment to see her case worker and the case worker doesn't respond to make the appointment.

If you want to adopt, this is your best option! They work hard to help. You must be proactive in the ENTIRE process.

They don't promise you what you sign in the contract for extended foster care here is a little note if u have ssi they gonna make u pay for everything that our kids suppose to do
