Little River Cooperative is an amazing resource. I bought Cranberry hibiscus plants from them and the plants were in perfect condition and wrapped beautifully and carefully. The plants have flourished here at Gipsy Hill Farm.I will use these plants for decorative purposes here on the farm in salads as garnish as well as in bouquets. I highly recommended their plants. Please see the hibiscus used in my vases!

Hands down the number one spot in SoFlo to buy edible plants & pollinators. They also provide in person classes on planting for each season. Our zone (Zone10b) is unique to other zone 10s because of our semi tropical climate and they have the best knowledge for what works in our area!! Last but not least, if I can’t make it to their nursery, I get my plants delivered!!! Exceptional service!

I have purchased various workshops as well as seedlings and other plants from Little River Cooperative for nearly a decade. It has been an absolute joy watching their business grow from selling a few seedlings out the back of a pick up truck to the community treasure they are today. They not only have beautiful, healthy starter plants to put in your gardens during the growing season but they also garden installations and offer support during the growing season. They provide everything one needs to grow and maintain their garden including soil, soil amendments, worm castings and tools. In addition to the garden plants and supplies LRC also donate plants to community gardens. When I worked in school gardens I purchased many of our plants from LRC. I also love reading their Blog posts which contain valuable information about garden problems and pest. Lastly their workshops are wholesome, community bonding events often open to children and friendly dogs. I have particularly enjoyed the creative workshops such as making flower/plant wreaths, making body products and even natural paper! I'm looking forward to the upcoming dying workshop utilizing flowers and plants. I am grateful to LRC and all they do to enhance our community. It's exactly the type of organization Miami so desperately needs.

I've been purchasing plants from LRC for some years (pre-pandemic). Their plants are top notch. This year, we used our FC money to install a raised bed at school and it's equally fantastic. The high school kids are enjoying it along with staff! Can't stress enough how important it is to support local, high quality, businesses like this!

There are so many wonderful things to say about Little River Cooperative, it's hard to know where to start. First of all visiting their beautiful nursery in the redlands is a treat - you can buy healthy, high quality plants selected specifically to thrive in Southeast Florida, as well as take home information and supplies such as fertilizer to care for them throughout the season. Little River Cooperative is more than a place to buy plants; Little River Cooperative has served as a teacher and leader in Miami, constantly sharing through workshops, social media, and their newsletters knowledge and resources which empower the local community to continue growing, and develop knowledge and relationships with plants to become better gardeners. I have learned so much about the specifics of growing plants in our Southeast region of Florida from attending workshops and trainings led by Little River Cooperative. Their spirit of empowering the community really makes Little River Cooperative stand out. We are truly lucky and enriched to have this wonderful business in our community in Miami.

Little River Coop sells amazing varieties of seedlings that are appropriate for Miami's unique climate (each at the right time of the year, too!); seeds; local soil; organic fertilizer and other items for gardening needs. Their education is incredible; I have avoided so many mistakes from sowing seeds to growing Miami appropriate varieties to managing pests and composting/cover cropping to build soil. Five stars!

Having Little River Cooperative plant and service our garden is amazing!! Muriel & Tiffany are very professional and knowledgeable about the challenges of growing produce in South Florida. Having their team allows me to have fresh organic produce just a few steps from the kitchen. They have worked to build a customized selection of herbs, greens, and vegetable that support my culinary tastes.

I LOVE Little River Cooperative & its fabulous Miami urban gardening goddesses Tiffany & Muriel. These ladies have built an incredible community based business that has transformed my gardening and eating life, combining dedication to urban organic gardening for all and research into our very particular climate and soil with great offerings of all kinds. For years I've been buying their plants and seeds, taking their gardening classes, going to their plant sales, getting their advice. I've learned so much from them; and enjoy harvesting my own greens, salad, herbs, peppers and more every growing season. Now my neighbors ask me how I get such a beautiful garden! Little River, I tell them. So grateful they're part of Miami, creating community and making lives better.

My team and I have had the honor and joy of working with Muriel, Tiffany and the Little River Cooperative team since 2015 on multiple projects, including community gardens for private businesses and activating larger-scale public spaces. In the first project, they created the largest urban, organic edible garden in the county at our venue, The Wynwood Yard. We are currently working with them again in our new space, The Doral Yard, and recently worked with them on a large-scale pedestrian activation in Downtown Doral. Muriel has brilliantly worked with us over the years to design and upgrade our gardens, always providing thoughtful insights into the layouts, materials and specific plants to grow within each area of the space (for each season and depending on our culinary needs, etc). The LRC team has provided a large range of additional services, including monthly maintenance to the gardens, leading community workshops and educational events, and jumping in for a variety consulting and garden-related projects as they arise. They are by far and away our #1 choice and recommended vendor for these types of projects, as they consistently display the highest level of creativity, professionalism and integrity. We are deeply grateful to the LRC team for designing, curating and tending to our beautiful gardens over the years. They have brought life and beauty to our spaces, and have shared a great deal of knowledge with our team and guests along the way!
