“I have been using MARS since before I can remember. Most definitely over 30 years. There has NEVER been an issue that could not be resolved, and even those were few and far between. Before the "pandemic" I was sending in 14-20 shirts and a few pants a week. My review is not based on one or two experiences, it is based on HUNDREDS of pieces dry cleaned by MARS. “EDIT: the owner reached out to me and assured me that the facilities are cleaned daily, and that unfortunately misuse of machines, especially from those who work say in mechanics or construction can damage or dirty the machines. Which is so unfortunate that we have to keep an eye out for screws or grease spots left behind! But it’s a public use laundromat so I’ll just have to ensure to really keep an eye out. I’ve been using the machines here weekly for months. I used different machines too because the usuals were occupied. I’ll stick to my usual and keep my eyes out!
Original review: I used to love coming here. It’s easy to use the machines with an app, and I could walk around little Havana while my laundry was going which made doing laundry a good time when most of the laundry mats around me are a little shady.
Well the last time I went I have had clothes completely ruined: sheets, pillow cases, and my baby’s brand new clothes that he NEVER EVEN WORE (I always wash his clothes before he wears them). See photos… this is not soap stains. These will NOT come out. So now I have lost money because I have to purchase new bedding and baby’s clothes… I had seen other reviewers with similar problems but they were from months ago. I’d assume that the owners would be invested in maintaining the machines so that they are not doing this anymore.”
