Stayed at the hotel recently before and after a one-week cruise trip. We opted for the suite to accommodate our toddler's need for uninterrupted sleep, allowing us to utilize the common area during her bedtime. Although the room was spacious, there was a minor issue with the bedroom door, which had windows, allowing light to filter through. Fortunately, our daughter wasn't disturbed by it and managed to fall asleep. On the downside, the rooms were not adequately restocked; the first time, bath soap and Kleenex were missing, and the second time, it was the conditioner. The hotel also doesn't have a wine opener which caused some inconvenience.One thing to highlight is the unprofessional behaviour of the key morning receptionist, who displayed an attitude during both of our stays. This became particularly apparent during our second stay when we requested luggage storage after checking out. She expressed annoyance immediately, and rolled her eyes and sighed when we mentioned it was for four pieces of luggage. This puzzles me, considering we selected this hotel for its proximity to the airport, and luggage storage would make it a lot easier for the guests with later flights to explore the city.Despite the unprofessionalism of the morning receptionist, the other staff members we encountered were nice and courteous, which made this a pleasant stay overall.

My stay at La Quinta Inn was pleasant. The guy at the front counter was very helpful, but however we booked our rooms back in September, somehow and someway our reservations were canceled at the last minute, but the guy at the front counter was very understanding and accommodated us!!

Unbelievable they canceled my room without even contacting us!! I called 2 days before to give a new card number because my card was compromised. They told me I didn't need to I would give new one at check in! Well that didn't happen an I am now paying triple for a room somewhere

Worst experience. Even after reservation I was not given room. Had to argue 2 hours with rude staff but they had sold extra rooms and I had to find another hotel at 11:30 pm Night.

Well Wifi does not work and windows do not block the ouside noise from planes flying over every 5 minutes. Why would someone stay at this 1-Star Hotel?

Amazing La Quinta! Price was reasonalbe for a Friday night and the service was great. It looks like all the rooms as of this posting were refurbished with nice flooring, big tv, and a fully functioning and clean bathroom! My favorite part was that one of the mirrors I used to design was in the bathroom. I have never seen one in the wild! I would absolutely stay here again.

Very unpleasant experience. We didnt have enough body wash delivered. We ordered housekeeping twice and they still didnt clean the room. The wifi only worked when it wanted to. And the last two days we stayed there, the tv didnt show any signal.

Needed a place to rest my head after driving for 10 hours straight. I don't know about the other rooms but the pillows and mattress were very soft. And that's what I needed a Good night's sleep. I'm not trying to live here and do a 10 point inspection like all the other reviews that I've seen here. This is not the Ritz-Carlton or Waldorf. They have a good breakfast. And I love waffles. I had no issues with their customer service. Staff was polite and helpful.

Booked prior to cruise because shuttle service to and from the port was part of package. Told upon arrival that shuttle service is only to the port but no return despite what is stated on line. Cost to return to hotel estimated to be $40 to $50. Hotel refused to honor contract. Dishonest advertising and no help securing transportation from port to hotel..poor customer service and dishonest advertising!

We had a king bed and the room was nice. Our grandson stayed on a pull-out couch bed. There were no extra sheets, blankets or pillows provided. We had to go to the desk to get our own sheets. They had NO blankets or extra pillows

Language barrier, old fittings, not enough staff. The location is good but the building is old, not properly maintained. Large trucks are allowed to park at the entrance creating hazardNoteworthy details: The bathroom doors were not locked, bathtub faucet was leaking, refrigerator was not working, AC was not cooling properly. When infofmed the front desk the lady who was working long hours, could not get to the manager for getting approval of changing the room.Insufficient bathroom supplies

I stood at this hotel for 5 days while getting some plastic surgery done. There was some pros & cons during my stay. For starters The rooms were neatly kept and clean.The pool was amazing. The breakfast was good but they do repeat the same food everyday. I was able to get peaceful rest at nighttime no noise. Cons to consider are The Elevator is very slow,The staff mainly spoke Spanish only as first language. This one Employee who was a male wearing a du-rag and headphones over his neck kept on flirting with me at the front desk saying I was gorgeous when I responded I’m married he still insisted on getting to know me better it did make me a bit uncomfortable but I brushed it off and walked away from the front desk. They do offer snacks and refreshments but are a little overpriced and the maids would open your room door in the morning offering room service but it was a bit intrusive. Overall my experience wasn’t that bad it was affordable and clean so the hotel served its purpose for my needs. I recommend this hotel if your on a budget in Miami.
