Concerned about its support for mario bramnick a evangelist who supports israel but seems as a whole intolerant of minorities including his own people being Hispanic. Just as one among other troubling incidents he is bowing to cindy jacobs a woman who said 5 years ago that God makes Christians rich to make jews jealous so they will convert. Israrel365 is claiming you among other Jewish groups in South Florida is supporting him it is really puzzling why a man living in Israel should be concerned more for evangelist Christians then his own people. Also it seems like israel365 hires men only from a very narrow background so he is doing the will of radical Christians who want to put jews to fit a stereotype.

From the email newsletter, I was aware of the Kosher food distribution on Tues 5/11/21, 9-11am . It said don't arrive before Thanksgiving 9, yet when I got there @ 8:30 the line was all the way south around the bend to Biscayne Blvd. I was the last car turning into that one-way from Biscayne Blvd . It took only the half hour to reach the loading area inside their parking lot.Thank you!!! I was happy for the milk&cereal and jug of o.j. plus the cans of fruit cocktail, but I cannot cook, so I gave away the rice&beans and frozen chicken thigh/legs. (I gave my sister the spaghetti & apples. She cooked it and gave me dinner.) I was thrilled with the 2-pound choppedmeat, microwaved it in 3 separate instances with the cans of tomato sauce. I would've loved TWO challah breads. Thank you.I also deeply appreciate your weekly senior meal delivery, and the breakfast box is an added bonus. I feel safer NOT having to venture forth into crowed supermarkets, even now that a few people don't believe in vaccines, and masks are being eliminated in lots of places. Thanks again and again,Fran

Today I spent all day waiting for someone to answer my call. All I heard is automated message. I am not joking. Twice I gave my name and phone number and nobody bothered to call back. Is this a normal thing with them?

I utilized their free services for careers (jworks miami) the organization offers, as they are advertised by the organization and tout a high success rate. I was met with resistance to help me, which should have been a first warning sign. After several emails back and forth, I arranged for an interview with myself and my wife. Some of the questions asked by the official who was supposed to help you were absolutely in appropriate and they did not seem to have any inside connection to employers in Miami other than forwarding your resume. (I would note had to inform official about the Israeli company WIX, I considered surprising for a Jewish organization.) I would not recommend their service for job seekers other than having them edit your resume. During the interview, official admitted that she could not even give referrals to the jobs the Jewish Federations has in house (call center) and there was no evidence that they screened my resume for "key words" that all the computer programs used to vet incoming resume submission. I did not go to any "classes" they offer as my experience was close to a waste of time other than having another person view your resume and edit it. For those interested in using the services, my advice is "its free and you get what you pay for."

Many years ago when I taught in religious schools in Dade and Broward counties the Jewish Federation was a source of classes and materials. Always knowledgeable and friendly staff. My latest interactions have been related to my desire to make Aliyah. The final interview was conducted here and my paperwork was sent from the Federation to the Israeli embassy. All was processed in a timely and efficient manner. It is now almost three years since that event and I must report that I am totally happy to be living in Jerusalem.
