This is home away from home. Been attending Good Shepherd since I was a young girl. The church is special and always has been. Our Pastor Jesus Arias makes time for his parishioners always showing love and charity and encouraging the community to grow in love and charity for one another as well.

Is a beautiful worth's hip place in kendall west of sunset driveWith plenty of space for parking and beautiful garden areas I went for an special consagratio ceremony and enjoyed very much.

Came here for a baptism and it turned into everyone getting scolded multiple times over everyone speaking quietly amongst themselves. Most of the ones talking had small children with them so they can’t stay quiet for long with little kids around, but then turned into a whole monologue about how no one is fully devoted to the lord nowadays. Pastor simply needed to focus having a nice baptism for the families and not stopping to speak down to everyone for so long. The pastor was also very sarcastic from beginning to end.

I’m so disappointed in this church. I received my communion from this church and returned today for the first time since 2021 for a Wednesday night mass. It has become a highly politicized church. It has lost its path to enlightenment, spirituality, and Christ. The disappointment deepened today, as in 2021, when I visited it was to pray for my lost loved ones - my abuelos whom I had lost to Covid. Back then, the pastor spoke against Covid and called it a conspiracy, and said that people were not dying… mind you, that day the pastor spoke the names of my abuelos. The horror and hurt myself and my family felt is an understatement. Today, I gave it another chance. So I could peacefully pray while celebrating a passed loved ones birthday. I didn’t expect for the focus of part of the prayer to be over Donald Trump, nor did I expect to be listening to politics at this mass. This is propaganda. This is not what I learned during my communion all those years ago. I won’t be coming back.

I’ve been going to this church since I was a little girl and everyone there is super sweet. They usually sing Spanish songs but the chorus is very good

Sound quality very poir- couldn't understand a thing that was said on pa- spent last 15 min listening about how people weren't giving enough money to the church- total bummer Sunday
