FootWorks took root as an Earth Shoe store in 1973. In 1976, store-owners and runners Hans and Laurie Huseby realized many of their healthy patrons were also runners and that there was an existing void in running retail. Filling the void became their mission and making runners feel at home was their objective. As Hans and Laurie spearheaded the growth of the local running scene, FootWorks has evolved as the unofficial South Florida runners’ headquarters. Their efforts have ranged from organizing Sunday morning fun runs and helping found the Miami Runners Club to directing and producing road races such as the Mercedes-Benz Corporate Run Series.
Love that this is a family-owned Miami shop! They really take the time to get you into the right shoe. So happy I found my new running store.

Great service, I walked in not knowing what to expect but came out feeling like I was extremely cared for and was given a plethora of running advice. Purchased my second running pair here, will be coming back for my 3rd pair.

Very knowledgeable team! They have so much experience with running, they can answer any question. The running training programs are amazing, I joined and ran my 1st half! Great community in the heart of SoMi.
