FilmGate provides a collaborative environment for independent filmmakers in South Miami. Through the FilmGate Newsletter, I was able to post a request for a film crew on my current project. The response was overwhelming! I could not have made those connections without FilmGate!

Filmgate is good but you need to join there discord for communication. They have connections with producers, and actors. Anyone that is aspiring to do anything in the film industry has alot of quirks like chatting with producers every friday hearing screenplay reviews biweekly. They also rent out equipment discounted. This place is even good for youtubers you can use a green room or there editing software.

As a filmmaker coming over from the UK with zero American industry contacts, Filmgate made my latest short film possible. Without them, it wouldn't have happened. From an online read through, to casting, providing production personnel and support, opening their contacts book, providing affordable insurance and even throwing a wrap party, they truly were the reason I've made something on American soil. Now, onto post-production... where they'll help some more!

I am an independent producer for music videos , photoshoots and events.I discovered Film Gate online when searching for a company to provide a COI for my project. I am so grateful I found this amazing company. Everyone is always so helpful and friendly... especially Diliana who has been helping me from the first project.. I am now onto my second project and still getting the same results!!! The membership also includes more goodies that I wasn’t expecting ... what a plus! I’m very happy with this company. It's a great place to showcase your film and to see how the audience reacts to it, as well as meeting other creators and forge new industry relationships; even if you don't have a film playing.
