I gave these cleaners a try as the previous one that I used closed down. I brought in two suits, one of which the pants needed to be hemmed, a comforter and some matching shams. The first attendant that assisted was nice, and attempted to answer my questions on pricing and dates as to when things should be ready. I returned the day that the items were supposed to be ready and they were not. It was explained to me by a second attendant that one suit returned from the main facility, out west, the second had not and the comforter and shams are all cleaned on a specific date as clothing and bedding are not mixed. I asked when they would be ready. She offered to have the items dropped off at my house, and we went back and forth a little with me saying that it wouldn't be necessary to come out for just one piece, but she insisted and I thought that it was an attempt at good customer service to make up for the confusion. I was told that the delivery would include all the items, or so that was the impression that I left the store with. I was even introduced to the driver. I paid for all items, although I was only taking one suit, and was a little uncomfortable about this but hoped that all would be well. The night came and when I returned home found the comforter and shams left on my door step, but no second suit. I called the next day upset asking why all the items were not dropped off. I recognized that this was the second attendant over the phone, and said to her that I was told that all items would be dropped off. She said that I insisted that it wouldn't be necessary and that I would come in and pick it up. Whether it was a miscommunication on my part, or a misunderstanding, what blew me away was how she became upset at me, said that she didn't need to "take this bull," and hung up on me. I did not curse, I was not rude, I was simply assertive to this now one drop-off (Saturday), two returns to the location (Wednesday & Thursday) and my items with no clear time of returning to my possession. I called back, she answered and I asked her if she hung up on me. We exchanged words a little more and I asked to speak with the owner. I left her my number to give to the owner, I called the main store out in West Kendall and left my number with that attendant to have the owner call me. The owner never did. The second attendant offered to bring the second suit to my house, I responded that I would prefer to pick it up. I went by after work the next day to pick up the suit only to hear that it was there waiting for me from the day before. I thought to myself, this is crazy. I did not try on the hemmed pants of this suit immediately, which is my fault, only to find that I am not certain that they were hemmed at all. Again, this is my fault. Maybe they did, maybe they didn't. Originally, I stated that they could try from the second suit pants or that I could return Monday so that they could measure them on me. I never received a call for that. What started on a Saturday ended on a Friday. I was not impressed with the items being returned to me piece by piece. I was not impressed with the uncertainty of where my pieces were and when they would return. I was extremely disappointed when I became upset, as the paying customer, only to be treated as if I didn't need to be heard when I questioned their operations and was hung up on. All in all, this was a simple transaction, and I don't believe that any of my garments were ruined, but this blew up way out of proportion and I did not appreciate the owner not contacting me when I reached out at both locations. My concern... if this was easy and I didn't get good treatment, how would it be if something got lost or ruined. Unfortunately, I will not go back, the owner never reached out for me to give them a second chance and the second attendant needs to learn that you do not hang up on a customer. If you go here, do so with caution.
