Cannot say enough about how great DCFCU has been! They provided me with a car loan at the best terms ever, far beating any dealership or lender by several points, and made the process so easy. That said, you do have to be careful because they will add credit life and disability into the loan, which significantly increases the payment, if you are not paying attention. But, that's my fault for not reviewing - the rate was excellent, the process was so easy. They also provided a great option for consolidating credit cards - with their Visa 0% for 6 months, and worked with me closely to make sure I had the best options. The service is very personalized, and ultimately I have saved thousands $$.

I paid my auto loan via phone and my information was stolen the same day with hours. I will never use this financial institution again. I am also seeking to refinance my vehicle elsewhere. Customer service was rude, supervisor never called back. I called the next day to complain and supervisor took up for employee. My $1400.00 dollars stolen cost them $35,000 because I am leaving. Never Agin

Overall I am grateful for my experience with Dade Auto Desk (D.A.D.) auto buying program. Kris helped me with finding the car I wanted within my budget. He searched the auto buying websites for the car I requested and ensured the car was in quality condition by checking the carfax and other necessary details. He delivered my car to a dealership near me. The dealership delivered the car to me at the time and place most convenient. I would not have been able to get the car I have, without his help. He said" I am going to get you a car today". He was polite, personable and professional. The car buying process is easy, only travel is to the dealership to complete the documentation. The loan process is easy as well and can be completed without even going to the branch. The only thing I can suggest is that the loan reps inform customers of the discounts offered on the interest of the loan to members who enroll in auto-bill pay or direct deposit and other details of the loan.

I just leased a new vehicle with the help of Kris Walters (Miami Gardens Branch). I had a great experience and never had to step foot in a dealership. Super professional, very accodomating and he was able to get me a great deal on my minivan. He communicated with me every step of the way to make sure I was happy with the car. My experience at this location was great. I called the customer service number to see what branch in the area I was in provided on site debit cards and this location is 1 of the 5. I had no clue that this location even existed. I was a little intimidated initially because they have these bullet proof glass doors at the entrance that are also equipped with metal detectors. Let me help you picture this. So you walk up to the door and you open it and walk through the metal detector. There's a tray for you to place any metal items in. All the while there is a red light indicating that you cannot pass through the second door just yet. Yes there are two doors. Once the green light displays which I think is controlled by the receptionist at the front desk, you may enter. The young lady at the receptionist desk and the teller counter were nice and knowledgeable of my needs. There was only one teller on duty but I am sure that was due to it being lunchtime. There were however how 3 account representatives available which is good for someone who needs that service. As you leave, you have to go through the same process but in reverse. You exit the initial door and it lets you know that the second door will open in 30 seconds. I mean I get the need for protection. Criminals are getting more desperate as the days go by and we all have lives and families that we want to go home to at the end of the day. I used to work for a bank myself so I understand that fear. As stated above, I had a great experience here and should I ever need to go back to this location, I will.

I have been a member for over 35 yrs. I deposited a large check (under $5000) from selling stock. I understood there would be a hold of a few days. I just received a letter saying it was likely not to be paid so they were holding it for an additional 7 days. One problem might be they tagged it as automobile. Maybe they thought I got a huge refund on my gas bill. My account said it cleared 3 days after deposit. Nowhere on my online account did it say it didn't clear. I could have bounced a check as I cashed out the stocks to pay some large bills. I tried to call multiple times to speak to a bank officer. It said there was no extension for the CEO George Joseph. An incredibly frustrating experience. No names or numbers for any officers. I have other banking accounts & it's never been this hard to resolve an issue. Might be time to dump it. Especially if I get no response. Even better I contacted the issuer of the check & it was cleared on 8/8/19. Customer service stated they will still hold it until 8/15/19 because it's their policy.

As a first time car buyer I did not have a clean picture of my options, or the best way to go about the process. But, with the help of the dade county credit union located in Miami Gardens and more specifically Kris my D.A.D representative I was able to get a fantastic vehicle. kris went above and beyond what was needed and found me a practically new vehicle for a great deal. I am a satisfied customer and more importantly a customer within my budget. Nothing but good things to say about the representative and organization.

I just drove out of the Dealer with a brand new Dodge Ram 2500! Thanks to the Dade County Federal Credit Union and especially Kris Walters! He did alllll the leg work and got me a great deal! The customer service I received from all the staff but in especially Kris Walters was exceptional!! He gave me his phone number and was always available for me. Yesterday at 7pm I called him because I wanted to know if I was approved and for sure I thought he was not going to answer. Well he did and advised me I was approved and as soon as he came in to work in the morning he would complete my application process. He called me at 9am and by 1pm I had the keys in my hand! I would definitely buy another vehicle in the future with DCFCU, hopefully Kris Walters can help me again. I would definitely recommend DCFCU and Kris Walters to my family and friends! What a great experience buying my truck!
