Hello, I would like to reopen my account at Citibank on Brickell Avenue, but I can't reach anyone by phone? How can you help me?

The worst bank I know in the world. The family has experienced, as a client, great contempt. They did not comply with what was agreed; impossible to communicate; They changed the conditions and have not notified it. We close account. We will not return.

Strange experience with this branch. After a great first contact with the manager Luis, who was very helpful when I was at the agency to open a business account, I was informed that if the account opening was successful, I would be informed even though I was outside the country, since my company is expanding its operations to the United States, but I currenty live in Brazil. After 1 month without any position on the matter, I tried to contact the manager by email and phone, but I was never able to get in touch with him. Now, 5 months later, I received a letter at my address saying that my account is overdrawn by $15.00, and if I don't want it to be blocked, I need to deposit or transfer that amount to it. Great, because I want to use the account, but I don't have a branch and account number, online access and any other information for an account that I wasn't even informed was open. I continue trying to contact them via email, the branch's telephone number and customer service, only receiving assistance in the last one, where I was informed that I need to be in contact directly with my agency to resolve the problem, even though they never respond. How can I solve this problem?

Is there a way to communicate with you? I can't get an appointment through the page, they don't give me options to speak to someone on the phone, and I can't contact the Brickel branch either. Do I have to send a paper letter?

It was a big mistake to apply for a Citibank credit card, I feel the greatest contempt for this institution, its financial policies and its directors, more than 5 years ago, a month after receiving my credit card due to ignorance of the electronic payment procedure, I could not pay my card for two months a debt of 5 dollars, since then I have punctually paid this and 4 other cards from other banks and some loans and they are such bastards…. that even after 5 years they continue to report this non-payment on my credit report causing me great financial damage, these people do not respect or protect their clients, stay away from this bank and you will be fine.

Incompetent. Nothing surprises me anymore with Citi. They can't handle the simplest of requests.
Went in to request a Business Card replacement; I was sent a personal debit card instead. Visited the Brickell branch (also incompetent) to request another card. Asked for it to be sent overnight (I do have business expenses to pay), told me it takes 5-10 days to arrive. Cut up my personal card for no reason and forced me to activate the new one (which i didn't request). They said it was MY mistake I received a personal debit card instead of the corp card. Made me stand to speak to a representative (I am 80 years old and visibly have difficulty walking); in frustration, I hung up and asked to be attended to with a banker from their desk. Banker handled everything without having me speak to some employee based out of India.
Why did you waste my time putting someone on the phone when I could've done myself from the office.

Excellent, friendly and very professional attention from Mr. Jonathan M Piombo at Citibank of Brickell. He took all the time to explain and advise on different topics, showing absolute knowledge of everything. Employees like this make a difference and it is a pleasure to interact. Congratulations !

I would leave a negative score if I could called in to inquire about information for opening a business account the first lady hung up on me because I told her that I was directed there by customer service and wasn't sure if I would go with Citi bank as of yet before I provide all of my business information I needed a general question answered .... She was just RUDE. Called back got a guy named John Campbell is the name he gave me asked to speak with the bank manager her told me the bank manager was not there then I asked for the next person that was in charge he told me that they didnt have anyone there. You want me to believe that you are a bank and you don't have some kind of supervision around money! Super rude folks if they are an indicator of how Citi bank runs I am glad I got a first hand experience before I started banking with them. They just lost me and my partners business!

The front desk "banker's" behavior is an uncivilized disgrace to a major fin intuition. NOT FIT to handle customer relations, be employed where he interacts w/ ppl. Customers/investors like me pay his salary. He's rude demeaning and nasty. The last straw was when he pointed his finger at my 75 year old mother and spoke with some ladies behind me like trash. His demeanor is so unacceptable and atrocious that I decided that I'm transferring our funds to another bank. (Too bad because I liked Richard.) If you encounter this man, he will make his business to prevent you seeing your personal banker and your money is not welcomed there. What a failure in hiring. Congrats Citi! This is how your loose clients.
