EDIT REVIEW : Today I received a letter from the company saying the following among other things. But most importantly according to the bill of lading you have you up to 9 months to file a claim and the company should be liable for it. I will continue update this review and upload all the entire bill of lading where Ciao Moving & Storage LLC only reported ONE damaged article at picked up, and the rest of my furniture in perfect conditions and you can see from the pictures how they arrived at the destination. To finalize, the final decision in not compensating what I'm entitled is a clear testament that this company in my views and experience is a TERRIBLE COMPANY AND EVEN WORSE PEOPLE. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR STAY AWAY.

The reasons why you need to say CIAO and NOT ARRIVEDERCI to this company when it comes to Interstate Moving.
This company sells themselves to provide the best service from beginning to end. They charge more than any other out-state-moving company. They only facilitate the move with an 18-wheeler truck, otherwise you have to pay extra $600 at delivery if the building you are moving in does not fit the 18-wheeler truck. Therefore, I stated clearly since the beginning that an 18-wheeler won’t fit in the loading dock of this building. At the same time, I provided a video of the option prior to signing any contract what the building facilitates to ALL residents who are moving in or out if the truck does not fit in the loading dock or this latter is full. Based on that video that was discussed extensively with Yasser (the owner of the company) since we agreed the truck will park there, I proceeded with the choice of using Ciao Moving since I knew the company in the past for intrastate moving.
I realized by surprise that they hired a third-party agent, and they don’t own the truck. This guy Ben who was the driver, is an agent, he does not work for the company and drove me insane along with Yasser ( owner of the company) for almost a day that my stuff won’t be deliver unless I pay 600$ extra for the shuttle. This guy Ben told me he will not find a route to access the building because unfortunately they placed my stuff on a door that faces the street, which is not my problem nor responsibility.
That is a logistic value chain issue that happened at the loading dock of the company when they were advice and agreed where they needed to park prior signing the contract, therefore they should have uploaded my belongings in the door facing the building not the street, it is unacceptable to stress and push someone to the limits in this case myself beyond the stress that is already involved when you move to another state, when there was a clear mistake of the company.
Clearly, I had better options, better price, and NO hassle of the truck, and all companies had 4.9 google review with 500 reviews and above, I made a huge mistake in going with this company just because I “knew them” from the past and the “service” , not only that I lost money in paying more but also experienced missed and damaged furniture and unpleasant moment in which they pushed until the end for me to pay the 600$ otherwise they won’t deliver my stuff, which I did not end up paying but the traumatic event was unnecessary.
- Real solid heavy wood, dining table, bench and 2 trunks/chunks damaged ( only wrapped with blankets without bubble wrap nor box, furniture that I paid $4500+
- Nikon Professional Camara model D3500 $ 1,000+ paid, missed from one of the small boxes they needed to wrap.
- Real Wood Shelves : $500+ paid Missed
- Medium Box of collectible items coming from trips of Italy and India, Missed Box.

I would highly recommend using Ciao Moving! They are very professional and carefully packed my things for storage.the prices are reasonable as well compared to other moving companies. Carlos and Omar were my movers and were very kind and friendly! Thank you!
