What kind of 24-hour gas station stops their pumps and keeps them off all night? They have somebody working inside but can’t supply gas?

This gas station should get zero stars. They consistently don’t have the system working to pay. You have to pay cash only. The gas station closes all the time locking the door. There is no support and the person working there was unable or unwilling to provide the manager phone number or contact information.
