Never have I encountered in any building a more uncooperative / unaccommodating manager. The communication gets “missed”, the response lacks any effect and that’s just the manager. So that should tell you enough about the rest of the building / staff and this review to not move here. If it wasn’t for the location this building would have nothing of value.

Great experience living here. The workers are helpful and professional. They are really good about informing residents about any changes in construction status or if there may be an inconvenience we might experience. I also like their community app. People are selling or giving away used things and they have groups you can join for activities.

First a couple pros: The employees are great especially Waza, Tiffany and the maintenance staff. If something breaks, they fix it in no time (I once had my drier entirely replaced in 15 minutes). Also the apartments themselves are a great value for the location and size of the units. They partner with Bilt Mastercard so we get points on rent payments and have stayed in great hotels for free because of this partnership. Now some cons: Amenities aren't great for the Brickell area and construction has been going on for the last year so we haven't even gotten to use them (top of the line amenities add $500-$1000/month in rent for each unit and let's be honest, people rarely use amenities despite thinking they'll use them every day). Like all of Miami, there are residents who let their dog pee in the hallways and are generally inconsiderate.Overall Camden is a great value for the Brickell area, with friendly staff who cares. Most of the issues I've experienced are out of their control.

I do not recommend Camden, I had the worst experience ever living in an apartment, everything since we arrived was terrible. We paid for an overpriced apartment, and it was supposed to have a pool, barbeques, gym and parking. (we only had the apartment)We received the apartment with all the windows dirty and they took 3 month to do a poor clean.I enjoyed the pool the first month, then closed it for some repairs that will last 2 month approx. After almost a year the pool is still closed.I saw nobody working in the pool for about 6 months.Because of this, we could only go to the gym from 7pm to 6 am. And guess what, it was always super crowded and it is a small gym.Because of this, we had restricted parking places, if you had the luck of finding 1 empty slot inside the building. The carpets in the aisle were all dirty, never saw someone cleaning in a year. The fire alarm turned on at least once every ten days. And when we asked what happened, they told us that it was a false alarm.3 times we had a real fire, and most of the residents didn't go out of the building because nobody believed in the communication.I tried to talk to Waza in her office several times but she didn't hear. She just talked louder over me repeating some kind of proceeding manual. She just doesn't care about residents and is not prepared for the hospitality business. The only good this building has is Nickolas Kitchen Pareja.

The Camden is awesome, I don’t care about a pool. My only big issue is all the homeless in the neighborhood.

Let me start by saying the employees here are great. I love the front desk staff and Waza and everyone who works here that I have dealt with, everything here is not directed towards them.HOWEVER, do not move here. Don't do it. The pool structure is completely compromised. They have to demolish the entire pool and replace it. There will be a massive crane put next door with all the major facilities shut down. This project will take 9 months at best, with construction 5 days a week for 9 hours a day. The parking garage is a disaster with every ramp closed because they have had to put braces up to support the structure as they demolish the entire pool. What are they doing for the residents? A one time $500 rent discount and $50 off parking. As all this is going on they are raising rents by 25% on all current residents. On top of this, the fire alarms go off around the clock, and when we had a real fire here, they told everyone it was a false alarm. If you are looking at this place in you apartment search, I hope that you heed my warnings. This place will be unlivable for the next year. For those of you who just signed to live here, I'm sorry, you got totally screwed.I cannot wait until this rental market turns around and I hope Camden as a company loses their shirt over how they treat the residents. These guys at Camden Corporate are slumlords, not respectable landlords.

No pool, no gym, half the elevators don't work at most times, the garage is a complete wreck, and they will be undergoing construction for the next year. Add to that, fire alarms that go off randomly for weeks. Worse, there is no communication from the staff and corporate does not care. If you are thinking of renting here- DON'T

Honestly, probably one of the worst communities I've lived in. You'll pay a hefty penny for rent and never have the full list of amenities that are promised (there's something that will always be broken - and it won't be a quick fix).We haven't had a pool since end of Feb./March and minimal progress has been made on it since then (the alternatives they've offered are laughable - $35 uber credit once a week or very limited use of another nearby pool). Pretty sure the building has serious structural issues the Camden is hiding which is why the pool is taking longer than expected (yep, think Surfside 2.0). Two of the six elevators in the building are currently broken in addition to that. Dog pee on the elevator floors and hallway walls is a thing. Much of the parking spots in the garage have been inaccessible for months. Fire alarms and sprinklers malfunctioning across all units after literally being tested 1-2 weeks before.THE LIST GOES ON and management doesn't do nearly enough to resolve the frustration I'm sure a lot of residents are feeling. This community is NOT worth all the money we're expected to pay and at this point it's UNSAFE. I'm exploring serious options to get out of this nightmare as a loyal resident/renter.

Overall I enjoy living here. Great location, decent floor plans, and nice neighbors. Unfortunately, I find the staff lacks accountability and suffers from selective memory. When you discuss concerns they will make promises, but then drop the ball and not follow-through. When you inquire they deny the conversion all together, even if you followed up in writing or have documentation from them. Staff training on accountability and communication is much needed.

Camden Brickell is a great place to live. Been here for 5 yrs and must say that the office personnel have always been there to assist, including maintenance. I must say that although everyone is great, one particular person that stands out the most is the assistant manager Waza O Pinto. I must say that she goes above and beyond at all times to resolve anything and everything that I come to her with. She always greets with her bright smile, is bubbly and advocates for me as if it was for herself. I must say that Waza is a great asset to the office. She is my go to person. If she doesn’t know something she immediately attends to it to make sure she has an answer for you and that you are satisfied with the resolution. I can’t remember when was the last time someone other than myself has gone above and beyond to help me in any situation. She is definitely your go to person and a big trooper.

This building was great for about the first year and then it immediately started to deteriorate in the sense that management is more worried about taking negative posts down than actually handling the downs of the building. The cleanliness of the building has gone down by a lot. There are homeless people that just hangout behind the building using it as if it was their personal restroom. Owners that let their pets go right outside the exits. Now I know there are certain things that are out of their control but come on the cleanliness is something that you can tend to. The stench that is left behind and you have to go through every single day from people to pets is unbearable. Should be cleaned up everyday not just once a week/month. The expectations of this building have dropped and don't know if it's because of new staff or what but something needs to be done to bring this building back to what it used to be.

I’ve lived here for nearly 2 years and have to say I love that I can take my dog out everywhere and that everything is so close by. I go to the city center everyday to walk and to Starbucks. I have a car but really need it living here. Publix is right next door and there is a great dog park near by. The staff are very attentive and fast to respond and they always very helpful and you can’t beat the location.

Lived here for about 6-7 months and honestly enjoyed it. Here's the rundown: Pros: *In the heart of the city and a very close walking distance to most things *Maintenance replies quickly, gets the job done well, and let's you know as soon as it's been completed if you aren't in the unit *Concierges are very nice and understanding *Camden has their own community app with a message board that has people constantly selling or giving away furniture, organizing events, or just asking general questions. It also notifies you when you have a package. *Parking in the garage is never an issue and there's even guest parking (but they have to pay through paybyphone) *All entry points are secured by a fob or use through the Chirp app *All resident doors are secured with a Yale smart lock which can be unlocked by custom-set passcode, or the aforementioned Chirp app *Thermostats are Honeywell smart thermostats that can be connected to your phone and controlled remotely *Building includes Xfinity service which I thought was very fast and reliable *Pool and gym are very nice and kept clean *Building has a lounge for study or work *Units are very nice. The building was renovated recently so the units now come with huge kitchen sinks and new appliances Cons: *Due to it's location, noise from the street is VERY audible and when people drive by with loud vehicles, it sounds like they're right outside. I was on the 10th floor with my windows facing the front street, and people love to just lay on their horns at random times, rev super loud engines, or shout on the street. *Redbar is next to the main entrance and at times you can hear people drunk yelling and music *My balcony wasn't made properly and retained a lot of water. This led to the paint chipping and algae buildup. *This one is minor, but a few of my light switches were installed upside down, so to turn it on, I actually had to click it off. Just seems like a "lack of polish" in such a newly renovated building. *Lounge has music playing which I could still (slightly) hear even through noise cancelling AirPods *There are a lot of dogs in the building which occasionally pee in the elevators and bark in the hallways Overall, I do recommend this place for anyone looking for a place to stay. The pros far outweigh the cons and I was always proud to have people over.
