The food was just OK. The drinks are way overpriced and watered down. Not the old Monty's that I remember.

One star because of allowing people to smoke around other eating patrons. Monty's, you have truly proved that you and Miami is just another 3 rd world banana republic. Shame on you.

I recently went to Montys with important customers, and my experience was phenomenal. I was greeted by the service manager Raul and I was also taken care of by Mike with the spiky hair. Not only was I impressed with the great service but my actual customers took the time to tell me that the service was phenomenal. My experience was so good that Monty's will be my go to place from now. If you want to have a great time in a great environment, Monty's is your place.

If you are a true Miamian, you have spent many a happy hour enjoying some pain killers and listening to live reggae at Monty's Coconut Grove. You can't beat this place for tropical vibes, great drinks, and a legit raw bar during happy hour. I've been to this spot more times that I can count (and sometimes remember...re painkillers), and it never disappoints. They recently updated their menu, but you can never go wrong with the fried classics: conch fritters, coconut shrimp, and an entire brick of curly fries. Happy hour is from 4 - 8 pm during the week and features $6 frozen drinks, $5 wells and craft beer, and $3 domestic draft - that's CHEAP AF! If you have never ordered one, you MUST ORDER A PK3. It's tropical paradise in a cup, and from level 1 - level 3 they up the rum. Go for 3. Just do it. From the raw bar, you can indulge in $1 oysters, clams, and peel & eat shrimp, and during stone crab season you can snag some for $7 a claw. Monty's is super casual, and the service can at times run on island time. but truly, why would you be in a rush to leave as you enjoy the water breeze, sip on a frozen cocktail, and enjoy time well spent in good company? Cheers to Monty's for always being a good time.

Monty's is a Grove, and even Miami, classic. Fresh seafood, legendary outdoor atmosphere among a marina with wide planked tables and benches, and Friday happy hours (both drinks and food) with live music that are popular among young business professionals, families, tourists, and even boat hands.

I have been here a couple of times and the food is mediocre and kind of pricey because i guess you pay for the ambiance. But, this last time I went, I got the bake shark sandwich. And let me tell you I think about it here and there. It had this fluffy fried bread as a bun, grilled fish, spicy sauce and a side of fries. I found myself dipping the fries in the sauce, i recommend this dish.
