Super affordable, they understood and worked within my budget and took great care of my dog, I recommend this animal hospital to anyone who wants to get good service and people who listen to you.

Super nice caring staff. And their fees are super reasonable so much more affordable than every vet we've taken our other dogs to.

My dog was having bloody diarrhea so I took him here to get checked out. They tested him for parvo only and said it came back positive. Parvo usually only occurs in very young dogs that have not been vaccinated (my dog is 15yrs old and vaccinated). They told me we can either take him to an actual animal hospital (priced in the thousands) to be admitted so they can give him treatment which might not even work. Or send him home with some oral medication that also might not even work especially since he wasn't eating or drinking. Then they gave me the option of just taking him to the animal shelter to have him put down. So my sister was able to take him to get a second opinion and sure enough..... no parvo. Test came out completely negative. They put an IV for fluids and medicine, sure enough he got better. We get to take him back home today. Happy and healthy. AWS almost had us put down our beloved dog.

Called to ask about best next steps for a mastiff that seems sick and possibly hit by a car, and front desk started yelling at me that calling around isn’t going to do anything you need to bring it in somewhere, you’re not helping it at all” nice! Many reviews here point to both malpractice and a super judgmental receptionist, they’re right! Click on low reviews, it’ll give you pages and pages of negative reviews!

If one day you ask me which is the worst clinic in Miami, I would definitely say this one. I'm not used to giving reviews but this one definitely leads the way. Yesterday my grandmother went with her very sick cat and considering the poor treatment of all the workers, doctors, etc. What they did with her was disastrous, they deceived her by offering her a credit card which was at their convenience, they told her that her kitten's operation cost $3,500 and that with the card they approved it was exactly $3,500, coincidence, right? He could pay for everything, within a while they returned the cat without telling him anything, they charged him 500 dollars and without further ado they didn't give him any paper, any receipt, card information or anything like that, they are freeloaders. DON'T GO!!!!

When I search for a new vet. I go on first impressions. And after first speaking to the receptionist Rebecca. I knew I had found my doctor for my sweet little baby. Polite, knowledgeable and bubbly. There was no doubt she loved animals. And was someone that I wanted working in a vet's office. My initial instincts were spot on. Everyone was kind and professional. I'm not 100% sure they sensed my apprehension to leaving my baby with them. But their kindness and professionalism calmed my nerves. Baby is fine and recovering nicely. I would like to thank everyone that works there. Those I seen and those I didn't.
PS- Rebecca, sorry again.......???

Hands down, the kindest treatment was received from the staff here. I took my dog in on a Saturday, extremely sick, in need of emergency surgery right away. Doctor Martinez and her assistants were complete angels and even stayed overtime to perform the procedure. They were so caring and quickly took initiative to save her. One of their assistants stayed late to wait for us to pick up my dog and explained everything to us with the utmost patience. I cannot express how thankful I am for them saving my little best friend.

In my case, a terrible experience, from the reception to the doctors, they are opportunists. I am not going to tell you the whole story, but if you want your pet to be well, and nothing happens to them, please do not take them here, no one makes bad reviews like the ones on this page for fun.

on June 19th, 2024 I made the unfortunate mistake of taking my foster kitten there to be treated as an emergency, which ended up dying on my lap on the way to a second vet after I was denied service. This business is an awful place with awful people, they made me wait over 2 hours to see what could be wrong with the kitten when I explicitly told them it was an emergency, after the vet finally saw the kitten and gave me a quote of close to $700 I agreed to move forward with the treatment to give her a chance at life, when I go to the reception area to pay I tell them I'm going to use my mother's care credit account and the blonde woman who handles payment treated me like a criminal, the lack of sympathy towards the care of animals is out of the window at the place, she completely ignored the severity of my situation and demanded her protocol in order to use my mothers care credit, when I asked why was she making it so difficult for me if I've been to other places with an emergency and they have been able to take care of me without any problem, she automatically told me to leave the clinic and go to my other places because she was not going to take care of my cat. I asked for my cat back and left the place! If she is the owner what a disgrace, I'm reporting this business to the BBB as well and the Vet Association. If she is just an employee, I highly suggest you do a rehire and properly training of all the staff, I left completely heartbroken, shaking, and in shock for such treatment. RIP Mittens, a completely avoidable situation!!!

The best animal hospital in Miami! Best staff, great vets, and genuinely good people. I trust no one else with my pets. The only downer is you’re in for a bit of a wait because they are always super full. But they always prioritize emergencies and take amazing care of their patients. I cannot speak more highly of this place!

I recently had the pleasure of using the services of the Animal Welfare Society, and I couldn't be more grateful for the care they provided to my cat. From the moment I contacted them about neutering my cat, the staff was incredibly responsive, informative, and compassionate.
The procedure itself was handled with the utmost professionalism, and I felt reassured knowing my pet was in capable hands. The surgery was successful, and my cat recovered quickly, showing no signs of discomfort.
Additionally, my cat needed a Femoral Head Ostectomy (FHO) surgery. This was a more complex procedure, and I was understandably anxious. However, the veterinarians and support staff at the Animal Welfare Society were exceptional. They explained the process thoroughly, answered all my questions, and provided outstanding post-operative care.
The level of dedication and expertise demonstrated by the team was truly impressive. Their commitment to animal welfare is evident in every aspect of their service. Thanks to their skillful work, my cat is now healthy, happy, and back to his playful self.
I highly recommend the Animal Welfare Society for any veterinary needs. Their great service, compassion, and professionalism make them an invaluable resource for pet owners.
