Garbage program, garbage counselor (Alice Lavado) you’ll NEVER be able to see the counselor you are assigned. Everyone else that you speak to will have no clue how to explain or proceed with the details of your case. They’ll just conveniently forget mention details that will end with you failing the program. Downright evil is what it is, people like them should not be allowed to handle matters that concern an individuals court cases because they have NO CLUE what they’re talking about. They downplayed what a violation of probation would entail, NEVER explained the steps it would take to get a potential extension of probation, and now I have a warrant and have to get a lawyer to save me. The advocate program has assisted me in no way and has promoted 0 growth or reformation as an individual. I would welcome getting black out drunk and driving into oncoming traffic at this point in time because the shame of having to go back to my family and pitifully requesting financial assistance is killing me. I mean what kind of job is going to hire me when I need weekday availability to complete community service hours, and SATURDAYS for a drug rehabilitation program (issued by the Advocate Program) and no reliable transportation. They conveniently waited until I had paid off ALL of my dues before I found out I had just been automatically failed with 99% of the course done. The assistants that I met with to discuss what I would have to do were so inept that they couldn’t properly tell me that I was already going to be issued a warrant and now I have to pull $1500 out of thin air for a lawyer, the entire staff should be locked up for running this sham of a program (except the front desk lady, she was always pleasant, courteous, explain everything in a way that O could understand and is more qualified than the people I had to answer to about my case.)

Sept.2022 caterered only to veterans and people coming directly from court-ordered jail. I need housing. I'm handicapped, old, have a HUD voucher, and a four yr old felony. Can't pass the background check. They turned me away.

Please try your best to find another job if you can. This place is very unprofessional, I’ve been working there since March when COVID-19 started no Proper training was provided, they had a Supervisor by the name of RICKEY THOMAS train me and all he did was complain on how much he hated the job and the Director. Everyone that works there hates working there because of the lack of respect they have for each another, Co-workers would talk about dad experience every day pertaining to the job. They don’t follow guidelines they do whatever the want (management (ALTHEA)want their egos stroked) they place people in potions with no degrees and minimum to no experience; you can tell by the improper grammar, on running sentences and miss spelled words in the emails. This place was a nightmare! If I had the option to give a zero star I would.

Horrible place!! Not friendly, treat you like an inmate, only interested in your money, a complete mission to get a hold of! Wouldn't recommend anyone to them! Or assist them in any way shape or form!
