BEST SERVICE EVER!!!: I brought my car to UPLink due to some serious issues. Despite not having an appointment and them being busy, I was helped immediately. After a thorough assessment, I received a summary outlining the severity and cost of each issue. The repair was quick and I received the car spotless and clean, running smoothly. The repair cost was very affordable and you can pay via card or cash.

Mom had to sell her 2004 Toyota Prius and I said "Hold your horses. I'll take that car!" And so she sent it over from California. In the mean time I was still driving my 2000 Honda Civic EX coup which had over 275,000 miles and I had driven nearly all those years which comes to 55% of my adult driving-life! When the Prius came, I didn't sell the Civic right away because it needed a little bit of attention before it was salable, in my mind anyway. First there was the check engine light which I knew was on because the catalytic converter needed to be replaced, the bumper was cracked from parking in the public streets of Miami, and the aftermarket stereo stopped working years ago because the amp shorted out, then the clicker to the Clifford alarm stopped. Oh not to forget, the car wouldn't even start after trying to jump it or a new battery! So I had the Civic towed to Uplink Auto Services after Ariel responded with a reasonable offer on Yelp's Quote feature to get the car started and to fix the catalytic converter. He used an aftermarket part for the catalytic converter which is just fine for this car. OEM would have been twice the cost for the catalytic converter. Ariel communicated promptly about all of the problems with Yelp Messenger. Another unforeseen problem with the Civic was an idle issue which kept cropping up. Nery, the trusty Uplink mechanic, helped fix this too. The only two items remaining are the electronic item for the car alarm and the car stereo, which I will have his stereo guy take a look at when he gets back. Uplink is not one of those places you probably would drop your car off if you saw the place. And thankfully I didn't see it until I came to pick up my car. The shop doesn't have its own signage. Its a little dingy. The garage is attached to the Shell Station. But what makes this shop work are a combination of factors: 1) competitive prices using after market parts; 2) a good mechanic - Nery - who doesn't quit but knows his limitations; 3) constant communication and feedback by Ariel throughout the week they had my car. My Civic wasn't my primary car so technically I didn't need it back in a hurry which probably allowed Nery to take his time diagnosing some of the more troublesome problems like the idle issue. The car looked good before but now it looks great and it is almost ready for market. Presently my Prius is with Uplink for a windshield fluid motor problem. I know Uplink will get the problem solved in a reasonable price so I feel like I'm in good hands. If your car needs some TLC give Uplink a try.

Great all the way through and through. From messaging with the actual owner about pricing and scheduling to going to facility and having an easy in & out experience. Great reasonable prices ( I got my brakes done on my BMW X3). I would recommend to anyone who wants honest and good work done on their car.
