Horrible customer service . Unprofessional and rude. Treated us like we were scum after we just traveled all day and came in to buy necessity's and use the restroom. Lied and said restroom was closed and then spoke in Spanish about us.

I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with the service I received at this pharmacy. I called the pharmacy to get the status of my prescription, and unfortunately, my experience fell far short of my expectations. Firstly, I have been waiting patiently for three weeks, which is unacceptably long. When I called today, I was first placed on hold for 10 minutes. I then proceeded to speak with the pharmacy technician, who informed me that the medication wasn't available. I had been talking to the same technician all this time, whom I won't mention by name. She offered to let me speak to the pharmacist, who told me that because I live over three miles from this pharmacy, he cannot fill my prescription. I explained that I had been waiting for three weeks and they had never told me about this rule. Now, after three weeks, he is asking me to transfer my prescription to a closer pharmacy, but he won't tell me if the medication is available in the other pharmacy. He asked me to hold and then proceeded to hang up the phone. They canceled my prescription that had been showing "Delayed" for three weeks on the Walgreens app. As a customer, I rely on the pharmacy to provide me with the correct information and a level of service that is both professional and respectful. Unfortunately, my recent experience has left me feeling deeply dissatisfied and concerned about the quality of care I can expect from your establishment. I recognize that every business can experience challenges, and I hope that my feedback will prompt a re-evaluation of the service provided at your pharmacy. As a loyal customer, I expect and deserve better. I urge you to take immediate action to address these issues and prevent similar experiences for others in the future. I look forward to hearing from someone regarding the steps that will be taken to remedy these issues and improve the overall service at this pharmacy. Sincerely, Jorge Diaz

Walgreens pharmacies have 80% polite well trained employees almost in every place but not in this one on 524 Jefferson Ave unfortunately. This lady on the picture below is rude and irresponsible. Doesn’t even use word “please” and have no idea about the polite intonation in English. Just “have a seat” like in army lol. She is having a thick Pakistani or Indian accent… which is ok but anyway when you work with ppl you should improve yr English like we all foreigners do here in the USA. 2 months ago she talked to me like a soldier in the army and like I’m not a customer … she treats ppl like they owe her smth. She never wears her ID, hiding her name I assume. And this week was the same. I came to the pharmacy with a fever ? had physically no voice and felt bad because I’m sick ?… she was unhelpful again using her strict straight commands and only the guy helped me when he saw that she was useless. I mean… you work in the pharmacy… some people come sick to you just to get their pills ? how can you be that rude and inattentive? ??♀️ I hope the Walgreens supervisor will notice this feedback and will give some training to the employees including an English language course to teach a few polite phrases at least.

The supervisor argued with me and told me the bathroom was out of service for me because I really needed to use the bathroom before purchasing an item I was here for. It was an emergency and could have turned out with a clean up on an isle.

Fresh Stroll, Few Empty ShelvesWalgreens in Miami offers a great escape from the heat. Loved the wide spaces between the rows for an easy walk. Yet, they could do better with keeping products stocked and refilled. A few more items on the shelves, and it’d be perfect. Will be back, hoping for an even better experience.

This review is more about a single individual at the 5th and Jefferson pharmacy in Miami Beach rather than the store as a whole as I have not had sufficient experience with that particular location to write a relevant review. However, what my experience with this”pharmacist should be a cautionary tale that everyone going the should be aware of.The following occurred approximately 3 weeks agoI am a new resident to Florida but I am a licensed health care provider in California and as such, I was particularly troubled by my experience here.My partner is a recovering addict (opioid) and was prescribed Suboxone by her physician. She was initially told by a male pharmacist that the pharmacy would need to order the medication and it would take a couple of days to fill. Being that my partner could not wait those days she decided to fill it at a different Walgreens (-8th and Alton). No problem. When it came time to re -fill she once again tried to have it filled and the 5th and Jefferson location. I accompanied her to that visit. At this visit an Asian woman informed us that she would not fill this prescription at all. Neither of us could understand what the issue was.The “pharmacist” (I am using quotations here and will explain later), said that the supplier refused to send Suboxone to this particular Walgreens. This made no sense to me as I assumed both Walgreens would use the same supplierI questioned whether this was a personal or moral decision by this particular pharmacist since the original pharmacist didn’t seem to have a problem.Since I was intending to voice my displeasure over this turn of events I asked the pharmacist for her name, which she refuse to give. Now I am very suspicious and requested to see her pharmacist license and again was was refused, this time both by her and another woman indicating that she was the “manager”. As a health care provider (optometrist) I know that I am required to display my licenses wherever I am practicing and to give copies of said licenses upon demand. At this point I am angry as I believe I am being lied to and I am not even certain I am dealing with an actual pharmacist who will provide her licensing credentials as required by Florida law and instead was met with the threat of calling the police!! Both my partner and I were needlessly embarrassed and the entire experience was humiliating for both of us. I now had 2 people yelling at me throughout the store, the original “pharmacist” was now covering her name tag and I still didn’t know whether or not she was in fact a pharmacist. This is astonishing behavior at best and illegal at worst. If employees are going to be making health care decisions on behalf of customers than they should say so up front so that customers can make informed decisions.

THIS IS THE WORST TWIGHLIGHT ZONE OF A WALGREENS THAT EXISTS ON PLANET EARTH! One of the pharmacists always screws up your most important prescriptions that you can't be without and tries to blame you for it. She must have gotten her degree in a box of Cracker Jacks. The place has the smell of piss, s*** and sweat with the ambiance of a NYC subway platform with all the homeless zombies that are allowed to roam around the store and camp out in the parking lot. You'll feel like you need to take a shower when you leave that s*** hole because it's so vile in there.

Definitely the worst Walgreens in the area! They gave only one pharmacist and one cashier at the front.

Pharmacist has been late three times in one month. Still waiting after 50 min. Store should change hours if pharmacist can’t make it in on time.
