RINO! Ritz in name only! Not able to check in until 6pm after arriving at 345pm. Room was dirty. Comforter was moldy and disgusting. Shower was terrible. No water pressure and a clogged drain. Just so bad all around. Not a real Ritz. They need a total makeover.

I recently stayed at The Ritz-Carlton South Beach, and it was truly an unforgettable experience! From the moment I arrived, the service was impeccable, and every detail was thoughtfully handled. A special shoutout to Onder Ucar, the Front Office Manager, who went above and beyond to ensure my stay exceeded all expectations. His professionalism and genuine care made me feel incredibly valued.
The property itself is stunning, with luxurious rooms, excellent dining, and a prime beachfront location. I can’t wait to return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a flawless South Beach experience!

We had a three day stop off at this hotel.
What an amazing experience we had. The staff are, welcoming, attentive and informative. A special mention has to go to Myriam. She was amazing. My daughter had an unexpected medical emergency which lead to two days in ER. Myriam was so kind, helpful and made us all feel very special. She is truly a credit to the Ritz Carlton. I would without hesitation stay again. Hopefully this time we will get to see a little more of Miami! Thank you Myriam

It was not clear at the time of booking that spa use was compulsory every day, whether or not we used it.
Breakfast is very poor, staff are slow and rude.
Only one good experience that everyone at the pool and the entrance was very nice and helpful.
The gym is fine.
When booking here, be sure to check for any hidden costs. And breakfast is not recommended at all!
Unfortunately, the 5-star service does not beat it at all. Especially not at breakfast, when you get a lecture on which door to use. Sorry, that's not the style I pay for in a 5-star hotel.

I did not use the services of this hotel, but became an accidental guest of the bar, which is located on the beach side. With friends heard live music, went inside. Nice atmosphere and very friendly staff welcomed us. Special thanks to the bartender - a positive person. I liked everything, somehow else there.
Excellent service. The building is already morally outdated, it feels. Note that in the lobby from the ceiling specifically from the air conditioning system water drips directly onto the sofas.

Very disappointing experience. I called three times before checking in to ensure that the checkins would be done efficiently and they dropped the ball. The front desk is severely under staffed and moved at a snails pace with the person who was manning it often running to the back for minutes at a time for undisclosed reasons. Two of the three elevator shafts were broken which made it very challenging to move throughout the hotel. To top it off, there were unrecognized restaurant charges when I received the final bill. Very disappointing.

Gustavo at the front makes you feel like you are being welcomed to his house. Very personal touch to a beautiful hotel.
Great pool scene for relaxation and comfort. Better food than most of ocean drive!
Rooms: Beautiful and comfortable
Safety: Many staff and verifications to help ensure only guests are on the premises
Food and drinks: Better tasting food than most restaurants in the area

Beautiful location, right on the beach. Excellent service both at the pool and benches on the beach. Restaurants aren’t that great, this is from spring break ‘22 so not sure if things have changed on that front.
Be aware though this hotel doesn’t have 24-hr room service. Had to order through uber eats after the flight got delayed.

Been coming every October for years, seen a decline each year but this is the worst. It will be our last visit, moving to SLS or Loews. This property has had a high turn over of senior and middle staff. No Rotz Carlton culture. This could have been Holiday Inn. Employees have a bad attitude, extremely poor service and just rude. It's really sad. A long wait for hotel operator is standard, my record hold 41 minutes, 25 minutes standard. Missed my wake up call, it got "lost", no apology. Front desk manager, Tony, is very unprofessional. Can't believe this is called Ritz Carlton..
