Nothing short of spectacular! We were staying at another hotel nearby and well…it was necessary to move. I walked into the W South Beach to just explore and consider moving to the W. The decision was a no brainer. We were greet by Ambassador Hal Demir. He showed us the impressive property and then showed us the room we had been eyeing online. Hal is a superstar of guest service. Giving us advice on many aspects/restaurants in the area. He then introduced us to Front Desk Director Rachael. Yet another superstar. We booked the room to check in the following day. We were upgraded (without asking) to the most incredible 1 bedroom/full living room & kitchen suite with a wrap around terrace with stunning views.
Rachael and Hal always has a smile and a kind word for us. This was true throughout the property.
Lucas at the hotel bar is another standout in hospitality, charisma and charm. Carolina at the breakfast restaurant (which is delicious) is superb.
Also, the online photos of the pool and overall property do not do justice to this extraordinary hotel in a great location. We will definitely be back!!!

Superb, I had an unexpected medical situation occur and the staff handled it with great care. I hate that I had to shorten my stay for one week. It was definitely a strong 4.5 star hotel with some 5 star sprinkled in:0)
Walkability: Everything thing is close by
Food & drinks: Great food nearby. The hotel food may have been the only negative.

The hotel is absolutely stunning. The service was outstanding. Marcello at the front desk made sure that everything we needed was taken care of. Will definitely be coming back.

Brad L, The Chef Concierge at The W South Beach is absolutely Top Notch!
Brad went above and beyond to make my Husband’s Birthday very special; he assisted me with making dining reservations at best restaurants in Miami and wonderful balloon decorations and gifts for our room.
We have stayed at The W South Beach multiple times and it is The Hotel to be at on South Beach if you want a quality, professional and welcoming atmosphere.
Brad and Ashley found us the most perfect hotel room and now we want to look at purchasing a condo at The W South Beach with the same likeness as the room we were given because we love it that much!
Thank You so very much Brad and The Incredible Staff at The W South Beach!

Excellent!
We stayed 5 days and everything was perfect: nice people, nice staff, great service, great food.
We had a room with a beautiful view on the ocean and sunrise.
Everyone is kind
They take care of you all day long at the pool and on the beach.
The room was perfect too.
We will be back for sure

W Hotel South Beach is always a vibe. The rooms are stunning , the service is also stellar. Andrew and the staff ensures the customer experience is top tier. We trust Peter and the bell staff to handle our luggage with care and are prompt. The hotel has endless installations throughout the day…the self serve coffee bar is a great way to start the day. Relaxing at the pool you will be offered cold hand towels, smoothies, ice cream, fresh juice + so much more. Wine and tea time is also a hit. The location is perfect as there’s plenty of restaurants near by and it’s a quick walk to Lincoln street. Ohhhhh and the beach service is chefs kiss. We stay here 3/4 times yearly! You won’t be disappointed

I stayed at this resort hotel for the 1st time this past weekend. It was my first time at any W hotel actually. Everything about my stay was phenomenal from the moment I stepped onto the property. At check-in we received a complimentary room upgrade. The room was gorgeous. About an hour or so into us being in the room, there was a knock on the door delivering fresh fruit and champagne. I was so surprised and so thankful. Everyone we encountered was AMAZING!! Thank you for providing a weekend I dreamed about to lift my spirits!

Pretty hotel and tries to pull off a boutique vibe. Unfortunately service was not great. For the rates at this hotel we have stayed in comparable resorts where the service was exceptional. The employees showed very low motivation to make the trip special. When we asked for anything the answer was “no” “we can’t” or “I don’t want to ask the bartender and make them mad”. Staff was courteous and kind but not accommodating. The main pool was shaded throughout most of the day and the adult pool is full sun most of the day. However, there is only one umbrella at the adult pool. Not sure what crowd they are catering to but it was not an upscale vibe. Food was not great. Overall, this one is a miss Marriott.

Really poor experience . We have been traveling with an infant and a 4 yr old and have been waiting for over 3 hours for the room to get ready . Their communication and service is really poor. They have been telling us for last 3+ hours that the rooms are in the process of getting cleaned and then suddenly now they are telling that they are not available anymore . We requested for connected rooms . The front desk person , director and the housekeeping are not in sync with each other . Very poor experience. Definitely not coming back again here.

If I could give 10 stars to The W South Beach I would! I have been here a few times now and each time has been an incredible experience. The location and accommodations are unbeatable. Privacy and access to the beach are the best in South Beach, keeping a high standard of safety and peace while minting a very fun environment.
EXCEPTIONAL EMBEDDED TEAMS!!!
The W Residences team, specifically, Valery, Akyra, Victoria and Katherine, aided and set up a perfect surprise proposal for me in one of their awesome units. They went as far as scheduling a photographer and setting up flowers and music to make the moment incredible, all while keeping the setting a secret!
These professionals are the best in the business and will absolutely make your stay unforgettable!!
The close, The W South beach is absolutely the place to stay for any occasion!! I can’t see myself staying anywhere else in South Beach!
