The saleswoman yelled at me because I took 5 items of clothing instead of 3 and snatched them out of my hands. She hung the clothes that I chose for myself for half an hour around the store on the spot. Then she entered my dressing room without permission to check how many clothes I had! She also started yelling at me right from the cash register like I was not normal. Usually in such situations you can keep the extra clothes on a table nearby and try them on later, but here you see this is not possible. Absolutely inappropriate attitude towards customers

I visited this store after I went to the beach on Wednesday 6/29/22, the person by the door did not say anything when we walked in, I was the one who said hello. I was with my son 13, daughter 12, and sister 17. We were the only black people in the store and we were followed around by one lady with dark short hair and it became so overwhelming when I was walking out from an isle that couldn't get out of the isle. The lady noticed me freaking out and asked if we needed help finding anything. On top of that, when I went to check out there was a Spanish woman with blonde hair who not only did not greet me, she spoke Spanish to another coworker the ENTIRE time and took her time replacing the receipt paper. I almost walked out. No one in the store made us feel welcome at all.

Pretty solid store for everything you need on the beach plus all sorts of souvenirs. Variety of styles, lots of stock, and affordable too.

The lady and her son kept following us around the store. We are visiting the city from another state and wanted to grab a few items before we left, even though we spent money (group of 8..)we all bought items. The only black people in the shop and we are the people they chose to follow around. Very disappointed.

Quiet, clean and easy check-in! I wasn't sure where to book until I took the leap of faith with this place. I was happy to see that my room was nicely organized and clean. No signs of bed bugs!! Minimal street noise!! But there was two things that bothered me. First, was the fact that there was only an elevator only for luggage purposes!! So I wouldn't recommend this place if somebody is in a wheel chair or disabled in any way. Secondly, was something that was more of a health concern for anybody staying at this place and eating something from what they got to offer!! I took a slice of bread toasted the slice and took it back to my room. When I was just about to put butter on the bread, I noticed green mold on the side!!!!! Crazy!! Obviously the bread was not stored in a controlled temperature room!!! This was the reason why I only rated this place 3 stars. Good place to stay but I would not eat anything from there!! Please be carful if you decide to eat something from Ithaca!!

Place should change its name to scammer beach club. Brought up 3 pairs of shorts all priced $19.99 but on sale 3 for $20. The incompetent employee said that two of the three pairs were not part of the sale. I led her back to the rack where the shorts were and she said that even though they were all marked on sale they only were doing the sale on the one pair at that rack. I said that is fine do you have another rack so I can pick out two more pairs which she led me to and I picked out two more pairs and brought them to the counter to check out. She then tells me the two pairs from the rack she led me to aren't eligible for the sale so I ask why walked me to a rack which wasn't apart of the sale when that is what I specifically asked for and she had no response. Can't fix stupid with some people.

Hotel Ithaca dropped the ball in a major way for our stay. My wife and I booked a night's stay at the hotel February 1st, 2018 in preparation for a cruise to the Caribbean. She just finished a significant medical treatment in Boston and the hotel looked like the ideal place to stay, well-reviewed, comfortable, and convenient to the port of Miami. We were arriving late, about 11:30, but made sure that information was part of the booking details. The night of our stay, at 11PM, we called and confirmed that our late check-in would be alright. A staff member at the front desk confirmed that it would - we would arrive no later than forty-five minutes after the confirming call. We were given instructions to call a number on the door, and the late-night manager would assist us with our check in. We arrived at the hotel, which is situated on Collins avenue, and called the number written on a scrap of paper on the door. No answer. The hotel does not have a lobby, so we were waiting on the street. There were no nearby businesses or coffee shops open at that time, so we were stranded. About ten minutes later, after a couple calls to the number on the paper, we received a call back. The caller was a former hotel employee, who gave us the door code, and told us to expect a call in ten minutes. We made our way up the staircase carrying our luggage and sat in the dining area. Some guests down the hall were having a party in their room. About a half an hour later, another stranded family came up the staircase. They had a similar experience - they were told to call the number on the door. There were four emergency numbers listed, which after another half-hour, we decided to call. It is now 1AM. All four numbers went to voicemail. At 1:30AM, we received a call from another person with the hotel. He promised to let us in in ten minutes. At 2:15AM, family members who live in Miami rescued us from this situation and brought us to their home. The other family (who we later saw on our cruise) was finally let into their room at around 3AM Of course, this is unacceptable. I was offered a refund and gladly accepted. However, the refund never came. My e-mail requesting information on the refund was never answered, and I am still down a couple hundred dollars from this debacle. At this point, all I wanted was a refund and to be done with it. If that happened, I probably wouldn't have even left this review. Now that I know that the property has been altogether unresponsive, I will likely be reaching out to my credit card company for a chargeback. Honestly, this is the single worst hotel experience I've had, and the fact that the property has avoided follow-up after a refund was promised is shameful.
