In 2011, I walked in here and took my first ever CrossFit class. It changed my life forever.I was in Miami for just a few months then. I ended up moving to Boston and then San Francisco and have been Crossfitting and eventually coaching for over a decade now.Now I live near the gym where it all started for me and it's one of the best. It's got great coaching and programming. The facilities are great and it's very professional. The population in Miami Beach is seasonal, touristy and transient so there are lots of faces in and out but a strong community nonetheless. This is where my fitness journey started for me over a decade ago. Jason coached my first class back then and he still coaches me today. And I am still learning and growing every time I walk through those doors.

Dropped in on a class while visiting Miami. Ricky was super welcoming and all the regulars were great! The Box was setup nice and was able to get in a solid workout while on vacation. Would definitely consider joining if I lived in Miami Beach! …maybe soon?

Member from 09/22 to 02/23.Basic CrossFit gym with several rotating coaches. Equipment is in good shape overall, and there's enough room to have the space you need, though sometimes they have to make teams to share the space/equipment.The M-F CrossFit class time offerings are, currently: 6, 8, 9, 12, 4, 6, and 7. Weekends are generally 9, 10, and 11, with a class at 12 on Saturdays. The workouts seem like they're more cardio-focused than other CrossFit gyms I've been to and seen on the CrossFit website. If I had to estimate, I would say that on any given day the workout is about 50-70% of the total time spent on cardio-focused activities (i.e. jog/run, bike, jump rope, row machine). Weightlifting is not done every day/class.They also have a separate class (currently offered twice a day) that is cardio only, and an hour-long open gym (also currently offered twice a day).Pricing is clearly outlined on the website, which is awesome (hiding prices just makes businesses look shifty). They have an app that you can use to sign up for classes, pay your membership fee, track your progress, and see the workouts for the day.I only have a few cons:It would be so much better if they posted the workouts ahead of time on the app. Even a few days in advance would be great, a week would be superb. They only post the day of. As a bonus, it would be nice to know who is teaching that class. The instructors all have different backgrounds, and they follow different guidelines for proper lifting technique (like preferring deeper squats in all moves, Olympic vs CrossFit styles, etc.). So if you've worked with one instructor, you may find that another instructor has a lot to say about your technique being incorrect. The second con is that the classes don't seem to follow a theme for resting certain muscle groups. If you come in on Tuesdays and Thursdays, e.g., you may end up doing almost the exact same workout both days. And then, of course, I would prefer more lifting-based CrossFit. I feel like this gym is more focused on cardio fitness (and maybe being South Beach skinny) than on the weightlifting side of things. Not a criticism, just an observation and preference.Ultimately, I decided to use the $200/month for membership to get a home gym so I can focus on rotating muscle groups and weightlifting.

These jerks stampede through the local cafe's patio every day, when there's a sidewalk right next to it. Completely narcissistic behavior. You get a better workout at Anatomy or Barry's and they don't have you storm the local coffee shop to do it.

Great coach. Lots of help. Daughter and I dropped in. He took time with us and introduced us. Downside. No one talked to us but the coach. We had to work out on the turf outside. Restaurant next door smells were not pleasing for a burpee workout then a truck sat behind the gym so then we were breathing in truck fumes. Equipment was worn out. Sad because the coach was great. Plus the drop in is $30 pp.

Dropped in while on vacation. I messed up ordering a package for 3 days, and they refunded me without any questions! Atmosphere was great, coaching was excellent, and they accommodated us repeating 23.2. Shout out to Andreas for helping us out!

Welcoming from the minute you step in. Dropped in for a class - Coach Jason welcomed us to the class and community - the programme was intense and the pace correct. Excellent box , great equipment coupled with good Miami vibes and feeling. A must visit for any crossfitter vising South Beach.
