Really good location . Ricky is the best staff ever. The only suggestion I have is that they should include water bottles or jars in the breakfast Thank you.

The structure may not meet expectations as it is a bit old but when traveling these are elements not to be considered (at least for me) if you stay there for a few days. As I said, the structure is a bit dated like the rooms and the bathroom but my wife and I enjoyed it all the same, the beds were comfortable and the cleanliness was excellent. Breakfast is served at the reception with packaged products, coffee and hot water for tea and it was fine for us, if you expect to receive a 5-star hotel breakfast then book elsewhere. The location is fabulous, not even 300 meters away you are on the beach and on Ocean Drive and that is already a lot. I remind newcomers to holidays that if you are looking for grand hotel services for 2/3 days you don't have to book here and then leave meaningless negative comments, if instead you are looking for a comfortable place where you can move and above all you know how to adapt then this is the right place.

I slept in the hotel for 4 nights, the service of all the staff and especially of Ricky is really amazing. The location of the hotel is super central, a 10 minute (even less) leisurely walk to Lincoln Street, less than a 3 minute walk to the beach.Close to all restaurants and shops. The rooms are clean, the place is quiet and safe (even for a girl who sleeps alone).I highly recommend the place, and I will definitely come back again.Thank you for an amazing stay for my first time in Miami Beach. ❤️

Staff are very friendly and the location is a plus. Just one block away from the beach and so many restaurants near by even on the same block. My only problem with this place is cockroaches so much. There’s always one that’s visible. Small ones but I found it very disgusting and I was so grossed out. I was sleeping on the bed around 10 pm and one crawled on me. I went to the receptionist and I was like is there anything we do do about this his answer was no. Not even a I’m sorry.I left that place the same night and went to a different hotel.

Average price for staying on the beach 2 blocks away but you are in the middle of all the action. Didn't like the breakfast, location was great, this place sells out quickly for some reason.

The location is PREMIER!! Right on South Beach strip & and one street over from the beach. You literally can walk to EVERYWHERE you need.. laundry mat INCLUDED! The rooms were decent, I love the kitchen set up .. your typical Island style room . The breakfast is cereal, muffins , yogurt nothing major.

Stayed there 10 years ago, seemed more of a long term cheap place, but I felt safe surprisingly lol. Room was a bit dirty and dated, but decent location.

Best hospitality I've ever had. Super nice. The manager checked the room himself before staying. Was very kind about he fees and when I lost my headphones he went himself and found them. I'd stay here 100% again just because of him.

very nice and spacious but there was stains on the comforter stains on the ceiling and stains on the chairs. Outside there were a whole bunch of people that looked like they would mug you if you gave them a chance. Never got out of the car without my fiancé by my side. free breakfast was a joke they gave us expired food. And I fell coming into the building because the stairs where uneven and nobody even bothered to see if I was OK when their office is right there. And the guy was sleeping the whole time. and there is literally only five channels to watch. The only reason I gave it one star is because of the Wi-Fi yay free Wi-Fi.

If you want to walk through people dealing drugs on the front porch, drinking straight liquor and smoking pot, this is the place for you. PLUS- Room was comfortable with 3 bedsCONS- Absolutely no amenities at all. Breakfast Buffett looked like the clearance section of your local gas station. Costumer service from the front desk was non existent.

Island House, Miami Beach, Florida. My room was neat, clean, and serviceable. Two Queen beds, crisp sheets, plenty of pillows, a flat screen TV on satellite, a small refrigerator, and what looks like the original sink, tub and tile in the bathroom. Non-smoking rooms. Personally, I would like to see the room painted less bland, more tropical South Beachy, and some local art on the walls. There is a continental breakfast of sorts that differed each day: consisting of cereals, milk, exotic juices, assortment of cakes, muffins, fruit, and chocolate milk. The onsite manager, Ricky, is a font of information, constantly pleasant, ever smiling, and ever ready to assist in any way he can. Not being familiar with Miami, he made my stay pleasant, directed me to what I needed, and resolved problems that occurred. He is the best part of Island House and made my stay perfect.Island House is an old art deco hotel very close to the beach, lots of good restaurants (I strongly recommend the Cuban sampler at "1959 Havana") and shops around to buy authentic South Beach attire and beachwear. It is a short Uber/Lyft/Taxi distance to the Miami Convention Center and is set amongst an entire street of art deco buildings. No onsite parking. Parking garages are found just blocks both north and south of the hotel. Check prices before parking. $20 for 24 hours at G4 and across the street is $20 for 12 hours but, I was charged $50. Everything is automated so there is no one with which to discuss any discrepancies. Parking at the convention center was $10 for 12 hours. In the office they have all kinds of beach stuff INCLUDING towels to loan out. Beach is one block away. I just read the other reviews and did not have any of the problems they listed. I am planning to come back to Miami for pleasure and will stay at Island House.
