“What a worderful gem this boutique hotel is. Chris was so very helpful to us and showed exceptional customer service from check in to check out. The concierge Art gave us great suggestions on what to see in the area and Daniel was a lovely server for lunch as we were waiting to check out. Every person made us feel welcome and valued.The boutique hotel is located perfectly on ocean dr, just at the beginning so the hustle and bustle and noise is far enough removed for a quiet stay in walking distance of everything and right across from the beach.Highly recommend this lovely hotel for your next stay at south beach. “Listen!! I can’t stop raving about the W as a hotel chain! This was my 2nd time at one of the hotels and we felt the warmth and welcome the second we arrived!From the moment we walked in and in till we left, the treatment was five solid stars! Our concierge Sole checked in on us everyday until we checked out! They provided a hand written welcome card with some yummy snacks.The breakfast was definitely worth any additional cost! Overall worth the priceRooms: Was upgraded to the Oasis with an ocean view, 1.5 bathroom with a full kitchenette!”

“Excellent hotel. Honestly, I was pleasantly surprised as I didn’t expect that level of service in Miami Beach. The front desk was very helpful and responsive. The room was exceptionally clean. They offer a pretty impressive selection of food for brunch. Very nice warm pool for cold days. Despite the size of hotel it doesn’t feel crowded. Exquisite design and peaceful atmosphere. We truly enjoyed our stay at Setai. Highly recommend!”

“Stayed here before we left on a cruise- the hotel is really beautiful! Clean, peaceful, and the lounge area was moody with great live music. Food and drinks were also amazing. The bar staff heard it was our honeymoon and sent us a round of drinks which is always so nice and not expected! The staff we had contact with were the nicest people and very helpful. You even have the amenities the next day of your stay even if you’re checking out.”

“The only word to describe this hotel is wow! What a wonderful and pleasant time I had at the 1 hotel I checked in around 1 PM, and the room wasn’t ready but they took our bags and gave us access keys to the facility for the day until the room was ready Had a wonderful time at the beach with Loura and Jose with set us up on the beach. I asked for a cabana and they gave it to me a great spot an hour into our day and the hotel text me to inform me that my room was ready. I told them I was still at the beach and enjoying my day so they sent my bags up and gave me my room number and informed to download the 1 hotel app and linked my digital key so I could go and have access to room whenever I was ready so I can finish the day at the beach and went up to the room to my bags in the room waiting for me and the room I got a king size suite that was a maculate the cleanest room I ever been in I made reservations at the rooftop restaurant the food was a Japanese cuisine that was excellent after finishing I went to the lobby where I met Ruth that was so nice asked her if I can check out late since I had late flight the next day she gave me the room till 12pm and informed and help me book a shower room with concierge, so I can stay the day and enjoy the pool and beach for rest of the day I had a 4pm reservation where they gave me a room to shower and change with my family and get ready for my flight that night. What a great experience I had at this hotel I travel a lot and by far this, Hass to be one of the best hotels I ever stayed at. I will definitely be back and enjoy this place one more time. “There are two detractors which I will mention below. Before that I must say that the staffers are amazing. The staff is very kind and friendly. This is why i included a picture of clothes in a bag. The housekeeping staff noticed my laundry. They may have thought that it was sad for a man to travel alone. I came back from my conference to find it nicely placed in the bag for me. Some may be disturbed, but I appreciated it. room was in the older building so I cannot speak to the newer tower. The room was quite nice. I found the towel rack in the bathtub enclosure confusing until I turned on the shower. There is no danger of the towels getting beyond damp as the lower pressure will no reach them. While there is a ramp for those of us where stairs are not the best option (bad knees, wheelchair, heavy luggage) it did not appear to be used with a solid metal door, not an inviting interest. The newer tower was VERY ADA compliant and inviting.The grounds and amenities are are wonderful. Take in the pool, cabanas, and lounge the day away!”

“I booked the Tony hotel for 1 night and arrived super early. The front desk staff were super nice, gave me a pool pass for the day, a coupon for their lobby bar and held my luggage. My room was ready around 2 pm and I had received a complimentary upgrade to get a larger room closer to the beach! The concierge was so fun and friendly. Yes this hotel is older with a modern twist, a lot of the hotels on south beach are old. But this one was clean so that’s all that mattered to me!Also the only negative review I have is the food and service at the pool bar. There was only one girl bartending/serving on the Saturday so she was extremely busy. She forgot to get my 2nd drink and when I ordered food, my salad came out missing cucumbers and had goat cheese instead of feta (was supposed to be like a Greek salad with quinoa) but honestly it took so long and I was starving so I didn’t complain and just ate it!Walkability: Great location! Close walk to beach, restaurants and stores!”

“I previously made a reservation for 2 Queen beds and a few days later cancelled and rebooked with our Amex link. I didn’t realize I had booked a basic full size bed.When we checked in to the room we immediately realized the room was not going to work for my family and I. Cornelius and Roxanna immediately took the initiative to help me the best way possible even though the hotel is almost fully booked. I took entire responsibility for my mistake; however, the staff not only showed empathy for what happened but blocked the correct room for the next day when it became available. I also want to give a shout out to Dani, the bellman. I have ran into him a few times and every time he introduces himself by his first name and tells us that he is available for anything we need. It is a very cute and greatly located hotel. Nothing over the top but it offers everything you need. What makes a HUGE difference in this hotel, is definitely the staff. You are all amazing and so happy to spend our Spring Break with you.Rooms: Very clean and elegant! Does not offer great viewsWalkability: You will not need a car, close to everything”

“I want to take this moment to thank the staff at Moxie from the time we walked in until the time we left everybody was great, especially the general manager, Leslie she even went out of her way to invite us to a private party on the rooftop which we had so much fun. They really take the effort to make you feel comfortable. The property is great with so many things to do in the area. The pool area was great. The rooftop was wonderful. “Contrary to some of the negative reviews, I had a great stay at this low key hotel. Peaceful and relaxing, not what you typically think of when you think Miami Beach. In much need of unwinding, I was grateful to be at this hotel where I felt like I was the only guest. Whether it was relaxing in the room or by the very cozy pool, I barely saw anyone besides the hotel employees. The hotel has a bar and an outdoor restaurant, which I did utilize so I cannot comment on them. I was also a bit confused as to when they were open or not. They might've been open the whole time but with no patrons!The location of the hotel is great for going to the beach and Lincoln Road. To get to South Beach, you can take the free trolley or an Uber for a reasonable fee. The hotel also has an arrangement with a nearby beach for a free beach chair and towel, which is great. But no umbrella, as I learned the hard way.I suspect that all the rooms are different from each other. Mine was comfortable and I enjoyed spending some time just watching TV. The bathroom is the biggest downside. Almost no counter space and no shelves in the shower. It makes it very difficult to maneuver, ever with just one person. As for the price, it's reasonable... for Miami Beach.”

“We booked a waterfront room through my Amex. When we arrived, they gave us a room on the 3rd floor with no view at all and in the corner. I immediately had to go down and complain that this is not what we paid for, considering the price we paid. They did accommodate us up to the 10th floor, but we didn't get in that room until around 7 pm. I had put my best friend (dog) down the night before, so I was wanting stress free and head clearing type of a stay. Unfortunately we did have that hiccup. After we got into the room, it was nice. No complaints. The staff was great. I actually had my other dog with us bc she was very sad about losing her friend, too. Everyone was very accommodating to her also, and loved seeing her everywhere we went on property. Including at breakfast and in the lobby. Overall I'd recommend the hotel, but this was my experience this time”

“My family and I stayed here and my daughter got food poisoning from a restaurant. We had a late flight the next evening and they allowed us to stay in the room a little longer so she could rest. They kept our luggage and let us use the rest of the hotel accomodations until we left for our flight home. They were so kind and caring and very accommodating. I plan to stay here the next time I visit Miami!”

“Room was nice, staff was very helpful. Even loaned us chairs, umbrellas, and beach towels each day. Location is perfect, right across from the beach and on ocean drive so a lot to see. It was a block away from the louder clubs, so even during spring break it was pretty quiet. Kids liked the rooftop pool. The shower controls were confusing and did require some experimentation. I heard another group talking about it in the hallway as well, so seemed noteworthy. The only thing separating the back of the shower from the bedroom is frosted glass. Thankfully it blurs everything not right next to it pretty well though. So, wasn't bad, just kind of weird.”

“I stayed at the President Villa for three nights. The room was quite small but I knew that when I booked, and it was perfect for a solo traveler. Furnishings are simple and have a little wear and tear but everything was very clean, including the bathroom. Every staff member I came in contact with was lovely, and the included breakfast buffet was convenient for a quick bite before heading out.The hotel is right on Collins so it's really convenient if you're planning to walk places, That said, there is a lot of traffic/people noise at pretty much all hours, so if you're after a quiet, secluded getaway or have troubles sleeping with background noise this might not be the place. I had a great stay though, and the distance to the beach is unbeatable.Safety: The streets surrounding were almost always populated with people and vehicles, even late at night, so I felt safe walking around.Walkability: Restaurants, Walgreens, shopping, and the beach are all a stone's throw away. Incredibly convenient location.”
