Check in was friendly & fast by a delightful lady whom explained everything. Parking is available. The staff was very friendly and working diligently on cleanliness, maintenance & rooms. Sure bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper, you may hear traffic, bus etc. It's harding dr in a city that never sleeps. The place is well lit with cameras. We felt safe. Never had personal effects rambled through & room was cleaned daily. Clean towels (no leftover hair or makeup from someone else) They never disturbed us to do it. Everyone is very genuine when they greet you or even say good day. So what some dated tile or carpet or ceiling light. It's clean! You feel safe! Treated like real welcomed guests. Easy beach access. Clean pool & outside shower, tub sink to rinse stuff. I didn't have dish soap for the studio kitchenette but that was a buck fix & I brought my own sponge, dish towel. Everything was great! I'll return definitely. RM 112Nearby activities: Free trolly stops behind & in front. Many restaurants nearby. They offer towels, umbrella & chairs for beach. Bal harbor shops. Haulover park buy a kite!Walkability: Walk through an open alley cross 1 st. Park & beach.

Close to a nice beach. A bus ride from most restaurants. Rooms are old but big. AC is noisy and old. Staff was friendly.

It's awesome that it's a couple hundred yards from the beach kind of sucks that it's on right next to a main road so you hear a lot of traffic other then that the staff is very nice and

The location is amazing! However, it is loud with traffic passing by. Also, the room had some opportunities, which it can improve if management pays attention to maintenance detail... the ladies' staff for services were very polite.

Cheap hotel. It's Okay for the price. REFRIGERATOR AND SMALL COFFEE MACHINE. The guests are mostly tourists and were quiet and harmless. There is parking place for guests.

The place was fine. The amazing thing about this place was its location. It was just 5 minutes walk from Surfside beach which was one of the less crowded beaches in Miami. The beach had lots of sargasm. South Beach Miami was just 5 minutes Uber ride away. It was pretty near to trolley stop as well in case you want to take that.

It is an older motel so it is in need of renovations but for the price and location it was hard to beat for one night. The bathroom was so small I could barely close the door while sitting on the toilet. The toilet ran unless you "jiggled the handle" but that's a common issue and it is probably already fixed by the time of this review. I've had better beds but I've also had much worse. Most importantly it was clean and I didn't see any bugs. It was in a great location and the fact that free parking was included was the main draw for us. We hopped a free trolley and grabbed some dinner. It was a short walk across the street to the park and beach area. Although we didn't use them, the facility offered beach chairs and umbrellas which was nice. We were only staying overnight on our way to Port of Miami so we didn't get to use the pool. There were several people in the pool enjoying it though. We aren't in Miami often, but when we are I will book this place again for a one night stay.

We stayed here for one night before flying back. They have free parking in front of the hotel, so no need to carry baggage too far. Check-in was fast and easy. We got the room with windows facing the street. In the afternoon we sat down by the pool, which was clean and in good condition. We were almost alone and even though the street was near we didn't really notice it. The room itself was nice, everything was really clean. The kitchen had enough for two people, but not more. Only the fridge didn't really work. The private bathroom was small and the toilet flush was leaking so it had to refill the water every two or three minutes but there were enough towels, soap, shampoo etc.Now comes the bad part: we had other hotel guests sit outside until after midnight and you could hear every single word they were saying through the door. The windows were shut but you heard every car, every step someone took outside. As if that wasn't enough, the AC was really loud, if you switched to sleep mode the room was 5° hotter ten minutes later. If you want a restful night this isn't probably the best place to stay. Apart from that, the rest is actually fine.

Great place for families. Quiet, basic, clean, comfortable, and near the beach. They have beach umbrellas and towels you can borrow. Plus the free Miami Beach trolley is easily accessible (a huge bonus for large family groups traveling together). We flew into Miami for a cruise and needed a place to stay for a night before our return flight, and this was perfect. They kindly allowed us to check in early, and leave our luggage behind for a few hours between when we checked out and needed to leave for the airport, so we could go do a sightseeing tour unencumbered. While the building is older, it has been kept up as well as I do my own home. And there’s just nothing prettier than bougainvillea in bloom ?

We stayed here a couple years ago for my birthday weekend. Rooms are affordable. Place was safe. There's free parking. Little kitchenette in room. A block from the ocean. What else can you ask for. We stayed at the best western on the beach and paid $30 per day just to park the car. This lovely place might be a small older motel, but to me it's better than any fancy pants place. Five stars ???

The kind man at the front desk was very astout and courteous. The room was clean and the pool was a dream . The beach a five minute walk and the place manages a secluded private atmosphere while literally being on the main strip. Thank you . We enjoyed our

What a great place! The rooms were very clean and well kept. We arrived early and the owners got us into our room by about 1pm (check in is usually 3) and upgraded us to a room with a kitchenette. This was great for us as we were able to do some cooking and meal prep. The pool was nice and clean, though it wasn't heated. The beach was a short walk and they had chairs and umbrellas you could bring to the beach with you for free. The only slight downside was location. If you don't have a car, there's really nothing besides the beach to take a quick walk to. Publix is a mile away. We walked with our kids and it wasn't bad, but it would have been nice to be a bit closer to some retail options. The other downside is the noise. Traffic is pretty noisy and because this place is right on the main road, it can be loud at night. We used our sound machine and it helped. We also did laundry here and the front desk had quarters and detergent for purchase. All in all, I would stay here again. It's clean, well kept and super affordable.
