I have been a loyal customer of Anthropologie, frequently shopping at the Miami Beach location due to its convenience. Recently, I attempted to return two items. I was assisted by a manager who had previously been helpful and kind. However, this time, her demeanor seemed different, possibly due to the nature of my visit being a return rather than a purchase. I understand that returns might impact the store’s sales goals, but I did not expect this to influence the level of service.
When processing the return, the manager insisted that I needed the physical card used for the original purchase, which I did not have at the time. I left the store without issue and returned the next day with the card. To my surprise, a different associate processed the return without asking for the physical card at all.
As someone with over three years of experience in retail, including roles as a Sales Associate and Sales Lead, I understand the pressures of retail operations. However, I find it concerning that a manager, who should set the standard for customer service, provided inconsistent and, in my view, unethical treatment. This experience has negatively impacted my perception of this store, which I have frequented for its excellent products and typically helpful staff.
I hope this review encourages reflection and improvement in customer service practices at this location

Lovely store for unique presents. A little pricey for clothing in my opinion. But it helps for beautiful last minute presents

Been here a few times to get stuff for my wife and the staff are incredible. Helpful but not pushy, very friendly and positive/fun.
The store is huge, airy and light. Most importantly, it has loads of beautiful clothes and gift options. If you are stuck for a present for your wife, this is the place

Let's start off by saying I have shopped at Anthropologie for years. Both in store & online I have witnessed a huge decline in their customer service and customer support policies. A package was never delivered to me and they were not willing to reimburse because I did notice within 30 days... seriously life happens. I am back & forth from Florida & Indiana & would rather spend my money on companies that are willing to go the extra mile and take care of their customers. This is not the first time they fall short in that department and I am not willing to give them another try. Before ordering from Anthropologie online know that customer service is not their strong suit by any means!

I love shopping in Anthropologie in any location: New York, California, New Jersey, Florida. The Miami store in South Beach: I always drop in when I'm in the area at least to get away from the frenetic pace of Lincoln Road & to smell the candles. And I always buy something-- the aforementioned candles, vases, shorts, tops, greeting cards. On my last foray into Anthro I had a delightful interaction with the lovely Beli. She helped me purchase a beautiful blouse & an adorable purse that could pass for a designer one that would be 10x the price of this one. Beli has so much patience -- I can be a handful. All the other salespersons last Friday night were helpful too. This trip I missed visiting with the charming Giada but I look forward to seeing her next time.
