This place is very well stocked, and I'm sure it could have everything anyone needs for plumbing repairs or installations. The major problem is that the customer service is terrible. I was attended to by an older gentleman with white hair, and when I tried to explain what I needed, he mocked me with his coworkers and asked me to bring him a part to assist me properly. I went back to the installation site and searched for the part. When I returned, this American Plumber employee refused to assist me. Later, another person attended to me who also refused to even make an effort to understand what I needed or the plumbing part I was missing. It's a business not worth visiting due to its lack of professionalism and poor customer service.

So the good reviews have to be related to the owners because there is absolutely no way they could be accurate.. as for the majority of the terrible reviews.. listen to them and beware. This place is a SCAM!!!!! A total and utter SCAM!!! BEWARE and don’t say you weren’t warned. They will sell you the wrong thing, not admit to it, and refuse to refund you even it was THEIR mistake!!

ABSOLUTE THE WORSE - Avoid at all cost! Rude, arrogant, argumentative....awful attitude - it is not customer service but customer aggravation. i went across the street to Ace Hardware and got help and wonderful service.

I HAD BEEN BUYING ALL KINDS OF THINGS FROM AMERICAN FOR LAST 30 TO 40 YEARS, THE STAFF IS FRIENDLY AND ALWAYS READY TO HELP. I PICK UP ALL THINGS AT THE BACK AND THEY HAVE GOOD HELP THERE TOO. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY SOME PEOPLE ARE COMPLAINING AND FINALLY PRICES ARE FAIR.

No concept of customer service. Must be a miserable work environment considering everyone there seems to always have a stick stuck in their pants. Short rude replies. You’d think they would care to keep customers that USED to bring them considerable amounts of business. That stopped today. Never again. I guess they feel they will be fine with all the hvac techs business that they don’t need you. Not a very ambitious owner. I’ll drive to West palm Beach before I ever step in this place again

Horrible customer service. I asked how many gallons per minute the pump i was trying to buy pumped and the representative told me he wasn’t going upstairs to check on that. Absolutely unacceptable will not be returning to this place ever agin.

Bahahaha this place is a joke. They really are a miami store. Rude and really don't care. I come in with a query and the ask me, and i quote, "why does the owner of the apartment have the sockets like that?" Lol um i thought you were professionals but CLEARLY i came to the wrong place. I mean they cut me short and started talking to another person who had just walked up. I would have hated to have given birth to ppl like that and had willingly opened my legs in order for them to exist on this planet. I'd have shut my legs mid- birth, but that's just me?

What a joke. After very clearly asking them if they would FILL my propane tank, I was told that YES they would. I was basically hung up on after this initial question was answered in a rushed fashion. I took an Uber ride to their location, tank in hand. When I arrived, I was rudely told that they haven't been filling tanks in "forever". Incredibly rude, irresponsible, non-existent customer service, inept, incapable, and obviously oblivious to how any sort of "real" business should be operated. Do yourself a BIG favor and avoid these clowns.

You guys could just do a little bit better. I just wanted to pay for my order and the older gentleman took my credit card and walked away out of sight for a good 10 minutes. I told the other cashier about it and that's out fraud happens. and he rolled his eyes and scoffed about it. I finally saw the guy with my credit card and he was just standing leaning against the wall talking to one of the owners or bosses. Any guy with a legal business in Miami could tell you they've been hit by fraud numerous times. Don't do that. And secondly don't make me feel foolish for trying to be careful.
