Really good service given by Justin. We received an upgrade and there was no line up (we were there on an Holliday, it could’ve been good or bad). Price was ok. Car was really clean.

We rented a car from Alamo and were able to pick it up on November 23, 2023 at 4455 Collins Ave in Miami Beach. The handover worked perfectly and we left the handover location with the 32BSLG car. As we were leaving, we noticed an unpleasant smell, parked the vehicle and complained about the condition of the vehicle. After we returned the vehicle (total driving distance: 0.5 miles), we received another vehicle N613540 without any problems, with which we covered around 1000 miles in Florida over the next few days. We were very satisfied with Alamo's services up until and including the delivery on December 5, 2023 at 4455 Collins Ave in Miami Beach. We filled the tank a few miles before the return location. However, we noticed that the staff did not check the vehicle, especially the tank level, but only asked us to hand over the key. So far so good.On December 19, 2023, we received an email from Alamo asking us to pay a REFUELING CHARGE of $47.59. It was also interesting to note that with the first vehicle, instead of 0.5 miles, we drove 81 miles (Out 29,918 In 29,999) and with the other vehicle, instead of approx. 1000 miles, we drove 62 miles (Out 13,338 In 13,400). So totally absurd distances that in no way represent the actual driving performance.The uncomplicated administration that we initially praised suddenly became a chaotic organization. The credit card statement showing that the tank was filled was not accepted. It was my fault that I didn't receive a receipt after refueling. However, I thought that a reputable company like Alamo would have enough professionalism to end the tenancy correctly. I will not avoid paying the unjustified claim. For me and my circle of friends it will be: NEVER AGAIN ALAMO!

We went into the store on 17/1/24 and I explained that I needed a small car for the 18/1/24, I already had a quote of around $1500 for what I required from another company but it meant me travelling to Miami airport to pick it up, however I could take a very short bus to the Alamo site on Miami Beach. The girl agreed to sort me a small car for 10 am on the 18/1/24 roughly matching the price under the same terms (zero excess)I arrived at 10 but it was clear that things weren’t going well, the staff were grumpy and I was told that they wouldn’t include the zero excess, it would now cost me an extra $700 and they offered me a big car but only because they didn’t have any small cars , I specifically wanted a small car as my wife drives a mini at home and wouldn’t be as confident in large American car…. Place gives bad service and is poorly run

Beware of overbooking!The day of our reservation, at the end of December, no car was available even though we booked it on their site and had to wait in line for 1 hour. They took the Watsapp number promising to contact us to give a status. Hours later and even after having called the central office 3 times and having obtained 2 new promises of contact by the branch manager we received no calls... entire vacation day wasted.The next day we had to show up ourselves before the opening on site, queue again to finally get a car (albeit almost new)!Ultimately the overall impression remains positive, because even when announcing the unavailability of the cars to the 20 people who booked them on the site, the branch team remained professional enough and managed to avoid excesses. It's a shame, however, that the promise of contact by telephone or Watsapp was ultimately just the trick to empty the premises...

Worst car rental experience ever!Have been there twice. Gave up reservation once because the line was not moving. Understaffed for the 3 car rental companies that work out of the same wicket. Inexperienced staff and not enough of them. One experienced staff member for 3 car companies. Line on both occasions was 40 plus people long. Obviously a management problem at this location.

Underground customer service! First of all: Forever long waiting times, queue all the way outside. 2. When we finally finished there was no car available and we had to wait another long time. Apparently the cars still need to be cleaned. -> That means: eternal waiting times, very poor customer service and poor organization.3. When we drove off we noticed that the tank was less than half full. We had to go back to the counter and wait again for another car.This is how half a day in Miami goes by!

I waited 90 minutes for my car. OTOH the location was right next to my hotel, the manager kept the line moving efficiently, and they gave me the car I ordered.

People were nice, but check in was too long. Seems like they need more resources for the demand. Workers were nice but car was BAD. Car was given to us on less than a quarter gallon (couldn’t drive more than an hour without having to stop at station), and it was written as a full tank. Line was too long so we didn’t go back, and we were already late. Then, breaks felt bad and a few hours of driving later the break light comes on. Also, way over due for oil change…car shutters every time it turns on, like shakes. Parking sensors don’t work in back and it literally screams at you when you try to park. Seems like the workers were overwhelmed which is likely why it was overlooked. They need to hire more staff.

The worst experience I ever had!I booked a 7 seat minivan. I got there on time and waited for 75 min. The guy that’s works there (name: Dominic) was very rude and unfriendly. He said they don’t have any 7 seat car and can only offer me a 5 seat car maybe in 30-45 min!I said I booked this car because we are 7 people not because I like minivans!Long story short: this guy was very unfriendly, canceled everything and told me to get out.A few other people there had also the same problem and went angry out of the shop!I am suing the company for all the additional new costs I have because of your unprofessional service and team.

Is this a flea market or car reservation counter ?? We waited in LONG LONG LINE…..~2hrs approx to rent a car.Booked van but not sure if I will get a sedan.Happy holidays!!!! Make it happier please :-(
