The most rude and unprofessional pharmacy technicians I have even encountered. And I'm originally from the city so that says a lot.

I used to like coming to this store now I find myself dreading when I have to or choosing to stop at a different store because cashiers have become EXTREMELY assertive about pushing the Walgreens credit card. I could understand them asking me once in one transaction, unfortunately they don’t seem to understand the meaning of the words no thank you and will continue to ask a second and third time leaving me feeling harassed every time I have a transaction.

I’m done with this pharmacy. They take zero initiative and you have to constantly call to see what’s going on with your script. You usually get varying answers depending on who you talk to. I have an immunodeficiency issue. My immunologist wrote me a prescription for a vaccine. Generally you have to be older to get this vaccine. My insurance approved, I had a prior auth, I had a supporting diagnosis/labs, but every time I called to check the status, I would get different answers followed by “we will have the pharmacist call you back.” This went on for months. No one called, no answers, just me waiting. Finally I got the real answer and I was told everything was good to go, but the pharmacist was refusing to do it. No reason given. Since when is a pharmacist an immunologist? I went to a different pharmacy and within days I had my medically necessary treatment. It worked. Recently I had to switch PCP’s and my insurance changed. Plus we were possibly moving out of the country for my husband’s job. My PCP made some med changes and wrote everything so I could get it all in plenty of time before the insurance changed. I had to call Walgreens daily and everyday I got different responses: you need a prior auth, we are out and had to order, etc. I called another pharmacy and they had it. But this pharmacy dragged their feet until after my insurance changed, then they said it was expensive and didn’t even tell me it was in. I had a coupon for one of the meds but they never gave me the option to get it. I just went without my meds until I got my new insurance information. Then they started the whole dance all over again when I got my new information. I am a healthcare provider. The reasons they told me simply weren’t true and everyday was a different reason. Today they say “your insurance has no prescription benefits and you need a separate card.” Not true. Plus I had a coupon. Well they couldn’t use the coupon and despite having the medicine ordered and told it would be ready today, now they are “out” again. My medications are very normal medications millions take. I really can’t fathom this kind of treatment. The med they give me the most issues with is a mental health medication but I also take it for chronic health issues. The only thing I can think of is this place has a clear prejudice on mental health medications, but that doesn’t explain the treatment I got with my immunodeficiency treatment. I’ve done my very best my whole life to deal with my health issues naturally because I didn’t want to take meds. It wasn’t until after I had COVID and my health got much worse I caved and accepted some medications, very thoughtfully and carefully, only to be made to feel like I’m some kind of drug seeker. but even people that are med seeking shouldn’t be treated this way. If I’m a healthcare provider being treated like this, I can’t fathom the way they treat others who may not know how to advocate for themselves.

In the last few months it is impossible to reach the pharmacy by phone, to the point that I am considering switching to a different pharmacy

Was a past Walgreens pharmacy clients. Due to insurance I had to go to Publix. Publix was such aggravating disappointment, that due to our insurance change we were able to go back to Walgreens. Cheryl, Annie Carl are very helpful. Now that I'm back after 8 months, there are some new faces I need to meet. I'm glad I'm home.

Agree with other comments about pharmacy. Scheduled Covid booster and flu shot, filled out form online prior to appointment, and showed up early as directed. When someone finally did help me (well past my scheduled appointment time, much less the early arrival) they were rude and unhelpful. Despite having been vaccinated at other Walgreens stores in the past, having filled out the form online, having my insurance card, and my VA card, I came away with neither shot. Worse yet, they seemed to delight in not being able to help me. CVS!!

This is about the chain, not just this location. I went to get my “free” flu shot. They don’t contract with my health insurance (United health care) so I would have had to pay the cost of the vaccine, which is > $60. Now that by itself doesn’t bother me. What bothers me is 1) that they have posters plastered all over that the flu shots are free for everyone over 3 years of age. No asterisk or anything, just says they are free. 2) they say no appointment needed by my husband who was also scheduled for one 20 minutes after me was there and they made a big deal about him being early. On top of that I have had Walgreens pharmacists refuse to fill medications for my hisbamd because of him being on numerous drugs after multiple back surgeries. I understand them wanting to prevent addiction but really that’s between his doctor and him. He is not addicted to meds and rarely takes any more than occasionally. But they shouldn’t have refused to fill the meds completely.

Horrible. I went on line signed up, filled out paperwork, got a 10:10 apt on this past Monday. Got there early, did a little shopping, walked back to pharmacy, not one person (in pharmacy) acknowledged me, so I asked another “waitee” what was up, he said eventually someone would help me, in the mean time I read their many signs requesting my patience. After a few min I stopped a man in the pharmacy, he asked to see my covid card and drivers license (?) then said wait over there. So wait I did, not one person from pharmacy said anything, at 10:45 I went up to pharmacy window and asked how much longer, a guy handed me a form to fill our (3 questions). So I waited, at 10:50 again back to window now being completely OUT of patience, same guy handed me a two sided sheet to fill out, I said I had already filled that out on line, he said did u bring a copy? Of course I didn’t because the instructions said I only needed Covid card, insurance and the number that they issued to me when I got my appointment. I gave him back his document and said something I am sure was not nice but most appropriate. Completely ignored! There were three people in the pharmacy, they were waiting on cars as they drove up, etc, there was no excuse for their ignoring me and others. Horrible place, horrible no service, a complete waste of my time, frustrating to say the least. My recommendation is to go to CVS, in CB, I signed up, filled out the online form, walked into CVS was greeted, pharmacist said hello Pam I am ready to give your your shot, I have the form that you filled out online, please sit down! Gentle shot. In/out with a pleasant experience.Don’t go to Walgreens on Sykes Creek, horrible treatment.
