These guys are absolute maggots. They took my deposit and even after I sent back the sales contract they told me the boat was no longer for sale - no warning!! I had booked a 3000 mile trip to complete the transaction and had to cancel everything. It was clear that when they got the seats back from the upholsterer they decided they wanted more money so they BROKE MY CONTRACT and relisted the boat. This is one shady organization!!!

I bought a brand new nautique Paragon from Lake Area water sports for 400k, worked with Robbie which is a super cool, no issue with the sales department. I also own a 2021 Malibu M240, being that I bought my Paragon from Lake Area Water sports I decided to try their service department out. Dropped my M240 off a month and a week before 4th of July, they said it would be no issue to get it done. I had them do warranty work and a full service. They charged me for some of the warranty work and charged me for the full service. I took a look at the oil when I got home and it smelled and looked like it hadn't been changed. I called them talked to service manager, said the work was done kick rocks, I told him I just bought a brand new 400k boat from you and he replied "so what" I took my boat immediately over to Tommys in Orlando. This is a side-by-side comparison of an oil change. You be the judge on if they actually changed my oil or not. BTW I paid over 600 bucks for the service. I personally would not have my boat serviced here.

I've lived in the area a long time but recently bought a boat and called to ask about service pricing. I got way more. Tom the service guy was absolutely incredible. He didn't mind answering any of my questions, even gave me advice on how to stay ahead of the maintenance in the boat. They will definitely be getting my business in the future with services needed on the boat. Absolutely would recommend.

The Wake Station is a small water sports store focused on wakeboarding in Melrose, which is near Lake Santa Fe, a popular wakeboarding destination. In addition, the people who own The Wake Station also own Lake Area Water Sports: the latter company deals more in boats and the big-ticket item side of wakeboarding while The Wake Station side deals in wakeboards, boardshorts, clothing, life vests, sunscreen, stickers--the softgoods and cute stuff side of things. I think Lake Area Watersports has a warehouse/garage for the boats tucked away elsewhere in Melrose but if you drive up to the converted service station which now is The Wake Station, you're likely to see some pretty sick boats pulled up in the parking lot, too. Even though I said the store was "small", it certainly contains all you need for wakeboarding--from the boards to clothing by Quiksilver, Roxy, O'Neil, and Billabong to sunglasses by Spy Optics. I'm just getting into wakeboarding so I don't know as much about the brands of wake-specific stuff they carry, but it looked like a very good selection. We're lucky to have a store like this in Melrose close to the heart of local wakeboarding action, plus, they give a lot back to their sport insofar as sponsoring wakeboarding camps and contests for kids. Good people for sure.
