Schott is an outstanding instructor and runs an all around high class operation. He gave my 3 kids great instruction and 1:1 attention from the beginning to the end of the certification program. This included good advice and help with equipment selection and sizing.

Sea Level Scuba has been providing me excellent customer service for the past 15 years. Schott Beckham is a Scubapro dealer and diving instructor. He can service any scuba diving regulator and provides rapid service. He also can train you for entry level to technical diving. I highly recommend.

Scott from sea level is the worst instructor I’ve dealt with in my whole dive career, even other people in his class which I have no affiliation with complained about him making them buy gear they really didn’t need to even telling them that they couldn’t use there own regulators unless he serviced it. Beware!!!

Schott has a truly amazing heart! He taught my wife how to scuba this past weekend and she wasn’t too confident. He was patient and made her feel completely comfortable in and under the water. If you’re looking to get certified this is the place to go ladies and gentlemen.

I saw another review that mentioned doing all your dives in a Spring which is not true for this dive shop. My daughter and I just finished (in the last couple weeks) our Open Water Certification, her as a Junior. I honestly don't believe you'll find another instructor or diver for that matter that has more experience that Schott at Sea Level Scuba. His passion for the sport shows and his interest and desire to make sure his classes are always taught with safety in mind first and for most was very evident. Our first dives were in some Springs as you're not rushed and you have plenty of shallow areas to learn your skills before progressing to deeper water (the Springs go to over 20'). Next we went for some salt water down South at Blue Heron Bridge and did our open water dives. depth is similar but more of it... and PLENTY of cool things to see along the way. Awesome place to do your open water. You end up doing as many dives as you need in order for both you and he to feel comfortable that you have acquired an understanding and can exhibit the skills taught. We're now taking the EAN course with him and then off to see a whole new World. Thanks Schott!!

I stopped by to check for some gear that I wanted, but they had a limited selection of different brands. I wasn't able to find what I was looking for and what was in stock didn't really work for me either.I looked into doing a class with them and their prices on the website were quite low ($200). But when I called, I found out that the $200 price only applied to doing all your dives in a spring (not in the ocean). It was $250 to do the 2nd day of dives in the ocean. Then they also require that you buy the dive book from them for another $55.I already had my dive book and DVD that I paid around $80 for, so I didn't want to buy another one. But they require that for their classes.
