Scheduled an appointment online for 10K service - had to wait 20 Min for the service advisor to ask me all the questions I filled out online. Way overpaid for the service and had to go and reset the check engine light and program my garage door opener the next day. Not very pleased with level of service or the cost

Update: it seems my review was met with a canned response. If you want to do proper customer service, the dealership should reach out and not have the customer hop thru your hoops to help alleviate the situation. So I will be waiting for you to call me.
This is a difficult review to write. But the negative review is service after the sale. Mercedes of Melbourne is great for when you want to buy a car but anything after that, you should avoid this dealership at all costs. I drive an AMG SUV, you would think an extra level of care would be taken with this vehicle. Well, I received the exact opposite. Many careless mistakes have been caught by me, not the dealership. From wrong tires to scratching door panels, to even blaming me for things falling off while being worked on. Why I am now writing this review (I’ve owned my Mercedes for almost 4 years, and have never had a year without this dealership causing issues for me) is they had to replace both of my headlights due to a warranty issue. Well, one of the two had an interesting crack in it. They did a piss poor job of analyzing what went wrong and told me I either had to pay for the replacement + labor. Thankfully I went to a different dealership, North Orlando, and they let me know that both headlights were installed incorrectly. And due to the lights not being in the correct positions, one of them cracked and said that the other one will crack too, if left this way. North Orlando did what Melbourne could not, give me a peace of mind about if an issue occurs, it will be fixed and fixed the first time. So if you don’t want a constant headache and never truly sure your car is being handled properly, please avoid Mercedes of Melbourne.

Service at the place is usually great, but this time the tech forgot to reconnect my oil pressure sensor, so as soon as I drove off the lot the oil pressure light came on. This could be very bad news if the oil pan plug was not tight, so I flipped around and immediately went back. 15 min later they had it fixed, but this is poor quality control. You expect better from a Mercedes dealer.

Buying a Mercedes is not for the faint of heart, or wallet. That being said, I bought a 2018 E400 Convertible and took the car in for its schedule A service. My blind spot assist was also inoperable even through I have had no accidents, no bumps, etc. After 3 days of waiting on a call from my Advisor, I called and asked for an update. I was told that the sensor had fallen into the well of the bumper and that they had to take the bumper off to re-attach it. Again, no damage, but likely just poor design and craftsmanship. The labor alone to take the bumper off and reattach was 1700.00. And no warranty coverage was offered or explained. Candidly, I could have taken that bumper off myself and saved the money. Advice, extended warranty’s just don’t really work or are worth the ridiculous costs. One because they don’t cover anything and secondly, they won’t honor them. I will be finding an independent service shop to serve my needs for my 2 Mercedes. 5 days for these two services with no loaner car offered was a bad mistake on my part of not demanding it.

horrible service. a bunch of liars. you’ve said your calls aren’t recorded but in another review you’ve told customers that all inbound calls are recorded . you just obviously didn’t want to go back and listen to how horribly i was talked to by your employees. steer clear!!!
