I would have loved to browse this store but the smell of what seemed to be heavily scented candles or potpourri in the store were so overwhelming I could not remain in the store more than a couple of minutes. My companion simply turned around and left the store immediately. Very disappointing as I’d looked at the store’s website and had several items I was interested in purchasing.

Lots of imported shlock from all over the world very over priced. All can be purchased online for half what they are charging. Beautiful store and heavily stocked. If you want it now this is the place.

I agree with Margie F's summary from a few years back included in this reviews list. Topic: Lack of professional customer service. It is obvious that sales people either get no training at all -- or of a very unprofessional, "whatever is good enough" kind. A particular female worker with blonde hair and glasses was especially rude. She acted like it was a major inconvenience to just do her job. As the other reviewer wrote... had an attitude that she could not be bothered! The online service is also bad. Request a call back -- and you never get one.

We were heartbroken after Pier 1 closed. There’s not a lot of places to shop for cool kitschy home furnishings around here. It’s surprising because Viera such an up and coming community. Kirklands is really the only place for really neat furniture and accessories. And they do a great job with an excellent selection. The staff is incredibly helpful, even to the point of helping you carry things out to your car.
