This JCPenney is just the right size, everything is @ arms length. Always has good sales on quality items. There clerks provide service with a smile.

I went there today, January 14th, 2024. I like the clean, bright and open space. However, with that said, someone with inner design vision decided to centralize the checkout. The shopping checkout experience has become extremely uncomfortable and inconvenient, especially for seniors with health issues, parents with children, and anyone who wants to shop at JC Penney. It's a large store. Before, with departmental checkout, it was so much more efficient and user-friendly. The checkout personnel understood the department and the needs of the customer. I spent more time waiting on one line with the other 12 families for service with one of the three cashiers, then the time I spent shopping for the few items I bought. WALMART would have been faster, more efficient, and more effective.Shame on JC Penney for allowing everyone to spend the day waiting in one long line.

I’m also going to call about this because i’m upset- first of all, my dad bought me a puma sweatshirt on dec 23rd and they forgot to take the security tag off (didn’t even go off when we were leaving lol) so we had to go out of our way on dec 27th to come get the thing off. We decide to stand in the return/exchange line since the regular line was so long. Dec 27th approximately 3:15pm the older lady (prob late 60’s, maybe 70’s) tells me and my father in the NASTIEST way to back up, we weren’t even close to the lady she was helping but okay, we did. She proceeds to tell us once again even NASTIER, and raising her voice that me and my dad, and the lady behind us need to move back into the exchange line.. well there’s no sign for that and my we tell her that. She just scoffs and laughs tauntingly. We don’t want to deal with her because we know there will be an argument so we have the nice boy at checkout take the tag off for us. I have worked in retail for 5 years, since high school. I’m out of it now, but when i did work retail i would NEVER EVER treat a customer like that, nor a human being to another human being. JC pennys obviously 1. Doesn’t have high standards for who they hire or 2. management must be exactly the same, and encourage the behavior. Rude, gross behavior. Do better. I won’t be returning.

Well I realize it's Christmas and it's crowded. However you have only two people at the registers for a line that's probably about 20 people deep. I wait in line for 20 minutes 30 minutes. When I got to the register the item I wanted to purchase would not ring in at 30 percent off even though it is posted on the tableI have been disappointed withJCPennyo should go back to caring about customer service!!!!

This is my first time in a JCPenney's in about 6 years. After walking through a gauntlet of overpriced clothing and patches of dim lighting. I realize why JCPenney's and other department stores are in such decline. Not to mention that when you have young children, they look at the clothing racks like it's an American Ninja Warrior test course. The opposite of relaxing, but still a boring shopping experience. Jcpenney's, please work on changing the game make shopping new and fresh. Be that dinosaur that evolves into a bird. Astroid is coming.

Can't believe it is still open. Very unfriendly store one checkout for entire floor. Wife pulled some granddaughter size pants from a sale table. All same make sale sign said this brand. Got to the one checkout other side of store . Pants rang up at twice the sale price. Cashier said go back and take a picture and come back with it. Then she could possibly adjust to sale price. We left.

JC Penny ordered an item that I told them not too because I would not be able to pick it up. They ordered it anyway and charged me for over weight shipping. Then when I returned the item becasue I did not want it they insisted on charging me the shipping. Then the store said I had to contact online and online said I had to contact the store. Thanks much for all the help!!!

What happened to this store?? It looks like a hurricane touched down. Very few employees, the clearance area gave me a headache to look at. We stopped to pick up shorts for my mother in law, the only ones they had were clearance, we finally found three pair, then couldn't find a check out, they are all on the north west side of the store, very inconvenient. The poor lady at the register only spoke about five words of English, turns out pink tags were buy one, get one free today. No signage, no one mentioned it until we were at the register. No thank you, I am not going back to dig thru that mess to find something else. This store is giving JCPenney a very bad name.
