I will never use H&R Block again, hands down. Despite having a positive experience with them in the past, I decided to give them another chance. I called ahead to inquire about the cost estimate, and I was informed that it would be $150 per year due to my schedule K-1 documents. However, when it came time to pay, I was shocked to find out that I had to shell out $1400 for four years. Not only was it significantly more expensive than I had been led to believe, but each year's tax return was riddled with errors.
Mary, my agent, was friendly and kind, but the whole experience was a disaster. I had to return multiple times for her to amend each year with the correct information that I had provided her. Frustrated with the situation, I expressed my concerns about the exorbitant cost, to which Mary suggested that if I returned in the future, she would be able to rectify the situation at no additional charge once she had more authority. I declined this offer, and she mentioned reaching out to headquarters to inquire about reimbursement for her services.
Unfortunately, I never received a call back, despite my weekly follow-ups. This lack of communication and resolution left me feeling frustrated and disappointed.
