Forces you to upgrade to a more expensive plan to find out that you don't need the more expensive plan, it won't let you go back without having to contact customer service to start over from scratch.
This is unethical behavior and H&R block should be ashamed.

Terrible customer service. They gave up my appointment because I didn’t confirm, despite booking it only 3 days prior. I showed up on one of my only days off and they turned me away. Then I showed up the next day with an appointment, just to find out the person they booked me with (the manager) wasn’t even qualified to handle my return, and she justified left and right the way the whole situation was handled. My time was wasted, and I value my time.

Rich was great. I was able to drop off my taxes and had an appointment only two days later to go over them and finish up.

Stay Away from these people all they do is take your money and give you the run around on business and personal taxes. Went to sign all taxes and paid . 3 months later my taxes where never filed and occurred late charges from IRS they turned around and said it's my fault not signing . Hold on I signed everything you gave me to sign. Happened in 2021and again 2022. They lost my taxes for 21 they pushed me along to not 1 but 5 other people that are clueless.STAY AWAY THANK ME LATER.DEFINITELY NOT OVER YET

We've been working with our H&R Block representative, Richard McGerald, for a couple years now. We like that we go in & within an hour, we're done. We feel confident that our returns are correct. Had our return within 20 days last year.
