I've been using Turbotax and decided to use H&R Block due to a complexity in my returns. However, its been a very difficult process dealing with them. They said they can help me, but after many trips to their office I had to figure out the tax issue myself. Plus I found 2 errors that I fixed and got a larger return. Overall I'm very disappointed. Either hire a real tax attorney or stick with online tax returns

Three negative experiences, back to back. First, there were errors on my tax return resulting in thousands of dollars at my expense.Secondly, my partner was told he had to jump through hoops and hurdles to get his stimulus check, which turned out to be a rather simple task when he decided to go to Liberty Tax.Finally, after spending hours on the phone with the IRS, having it explained exactly what I need to correct the bad tax return H&R Block prepared the year before, H&R (once again) insisted on complicating things with unnecessary requests and additions. When I counter-insisted on it being correctly, as the IRS explained, they ghosted me. Needless to say, I'll be supporting their competition in the future.

Great help! The clients that come in are a headache, so waiting for my appointment was less than pleasant. But the Tax help was fantastic.

Ms. Marn was very friendly and actually reached out to us to ensure she would continue with our case. I did not appreciate being bounced around and having one advisor work with us was very helpful.
