The agent was very quick and got us in and out in 5 minutes. He also suggested that I purchase the toll road package, which paid for itself. I would have had to pay a lot more if I didn't.

Positives - the carNegatives - over an hour wait at the desk at pick upCharged me 180 dollars after rental, emailed customer service to ask what this charge was as the receipt I got at drop off had no such charge. Was told i had signed and agreed to their unlimited e tolls plan, sent over the invoice I received at pick up and receipt I received at drop off to prove I hadn't signed up to any such plan and got an email back saying the refund is processed, no apology or explanation as to why they took 180 dollars out by bank for no reason. Proper scammy

Our car has a bulging tire. Roadside assistance quickly arranged for us to swap it at the airport. The text instructions told us not to wait in line and a car has been reserved for us. The jerk at the counter made us stand in a long line and he doesn’t have a car for us only a pickup truck! So much for having a hybrid.

Picking up great but dropping off the staff weren’t as friendly.One staff just left even though she could see there were people waiting to be seen.The car wasn’t very clean. Needed to be cleaner inside and out.Otherwise all good!

I have had a great experience renting vehicles from this location. The reservation process is incredibly convenient when done online or through the app, and when you arrive at the front counter, it’s quick and painless. I've never had any complaints or experienced excessive wait times because I've always made my bookings during non-peak hours.From my own experience, I've noticed that when reserving a car from the category I've paid for, I'm consistently presented with a choice of vehicles. This feature is particularly enjoyable, especially when I've made a reservation for a sports car. In such cases, they offer me a selection of two to three different sports cars to choose from, adding a delightful element of choice to the rental process.My last rental, I noticed that the tire pressure was low in the vehicle I had chosen. The staff at the front desk were very helpful and quickly arranged for an employee to inflate the tires. Within just 15 minutes, I was ready to hit the road with confidence.One thing to note, unlike some other Avis locations I've visited, this particular one doesn't have employees stationed in the parking lot, and there is no drop box for key returns in the parking area. When returning your vehicle, it's important to follow a few steps. Firstly, park your vehicle in the designated area. Then, take note or pictures of the odometer and gas tank level. Additionally, remember to make a note of the parking spot number. Finally, bring this information to the front desk during the return process. This ensures a smooth and efficient return of your rental vehicle.Overall, a great rental experience with a few minor considerations.

Appreciated the upgrade to my Camaro convertible thanks to my bonus upgrade offer received via email, plus my Avis Preferred status. The experience of picking up and dropping off my car with Avis has always been better than average. The Avis app was specifically useful this trip, since multiple changes in my travel plans meant I had to extend my rental twice, as well as change drop-off locations. The app made these simply 20 second operations.

Rented a van for a week long trip out of state. Van was perfect. Upon return, I stopped at a gas station 4 miles from the Melbourne FL airport return location. Drip off was flawless...the very next day, I checked my card and see they charged me a $100 or so fee for returning the vehicle with no gas in it. I called and after jumping through several hoops and being treated like a scammer, I was able to prove I filled it with a dated receipt ( thank God I kept receipt as I usually dont). Very unprofessional and no offers to compensate for their negligence. Don't use this location ever unless you want to be accused of being a scumbag even after you prove you were right. Pathetic.

The Avis customer representative's attitude was far from welcoming. He persistently attempted to upsell unnecessary items. Despite my insistence, he assigned me a Honda HR-V, claiming it was the same size as the Toyota RAV4 I had initially booked. I explained that I had a family of five, six pieces of luggage, and a stroller, but he remained firm. Upon attempting to load my luggage, it became evident that the Honda was inadequate in size, even with a rear seat collapsed. Another Avis representative, observing my struggle, advised me to return to the desk and request a larger vehicle, mentioning the availability of minivans.Following this suggestion, I went back to the desk and displayed my Avis Preferred membership, hoping for a solution. However, the representative disregarded my status and refused to offer any alternatives, insisting that there were no other options. Despite my attempts to contact Avis customer support, I received no assistance. With no other choice, I had to cram everything into the Honda and uncomfortably hold my 3-year-old son on my lap for the 1 hour and 35-minute journey to Lake Buena Vista, following a 10-hour flight. The experience was a distressing struggle, and the lack of empathy from Avis was disheartening.Having experienced such difficulty upon arriving in Florida, I was determined not to repeat the ordeal on my return journey. Therefore, I located a local Avis branch at the Hilton in Lake Buena Vista. I contacted them and inquired about swapping my vehicle. The representative confirmed the possibility, but then placed me on hold for 15 minutes due to an in-person customer. The line eventually returned to the switchboard after 5 minutes, prompting me to visit the branch at the Hilton in person.Upon arriving, I explained my situation to Mark, the representative present. He offered me a Ford Escape, which I declined, reminding him that I had initially booked a Toyota RAV4. Responding to my insistence, he then proposed the RAV4. I collected the vehicle and returned to my hotel to check it over. While loading my belongings, my son noticed that the side panel of the RAV4 was hanging off. This compelled me to revisit the Avis branch and speak to Mark. He advised me to show the vehicle to another Avis employee in the parking lot. However, this second representative had limited English proficiency and preferred Portuguese. After demonstrating the issues, he identified a slashed tire and evidence of a significant previous accident, including front bumper and side damage.We documented the issues with photos and returned to the desk to show Mark. Upon seeing the evidence, Mark acknowledged that the vehicle was not roadworthy and understood his mistake. He promptly offered me a Kia Sorento. I couldn't help but wonder why he hadn't done this from the beginning, especially considering my Avis Preferred customer status. This entire ordeal consumed two precious hours of my time and resulted in my hotel charging me an excess for late check-out.I've seen they've charged $69 to my Amex for what as I paid full in advance and even upgraded to return the car with empty tank!I have firmly decided to never use Avis again, as their service left much to be desired.

I recently visited America and hired a car through Avis, on collection the car considering it was fairly new had numerous dents and marks on it. Once started the car said it required maintenance, after 5 days there was a big electrical failure and the car was undrivable! Spoke to Avis roadside assistance (not avis but another company) they assisted us and told us where to go to collect a replacement car. Unfortunately when we arrived at the location they had no idea we was coming because the roadside assistance spoke to the main office and not the branch we was told to go to so we then spent 3 hours sorting this mess out. We did get a car upgrade for our issue’s which was nice but although the car was nicer it smelled of weed and again needed maintenance doing according to the dashboard. Avis should stop maximising profits and service their vehicles more often to avoid issues like i had. It did put alot of unnecessary stress on certain points of my holiday unfortunately! I do not recommend.

I am a Avis preferred, Presidents club level and I routinely get over charged by them slipping in a extra day or stating I falsely picked up the car early. They also give me 8 out of 10 times a sub standard car even though they have plenty nicer ones available. Nice way to treat your customers! These guys are not honest!

Wanted 40 minutes in line at the rental desk, also should point out the only rental car desk to have a lengthy line of people waiting. The man at the desk was not the most pleasant and after asking what make of vehicle I was being given and asked if any other models of my selected catagory were available I was told very abruptly "no that's what I'm given you". Unlike Alamo, who allows you to pick the vehicle from your selected catagory, unfortunately Alamo do not stock Full Size SUVs at MLB. Also on return and back home in the UK I received a $80 charge, after calling customer care apparently the charge was for refuelling but after sending a photo with proof of the fuel guage when I returned the vehicle I was refunded! Only one positive out of the experience was the vehicle was almost brand new very nice.
