I absolutely love coming here. I got my cat Maverick about 3 months ago now. He’s my first pet I’ve ever had on my own. He came to me snotty and with lots of upper respiratory issues. In true new mom fashion I brought him back to these guys like twice a month trying to figure out the problem. Dr.Mcleod explains everything and is so knowledgeable and she discovered that he has a cleft palate!
Dr. McLeod, Lourdes, karen, Sarah and the rest of the team have been so incredibly kind and patient with me. They are the best around! Each one of the crew is so knowledgeable, friendly, and compassionate. You can tell they care so much about each and every patient.
I 100% recommend them. I trust them wholeheartedly!!! They are reasonably priced and never try to force anything on you that you don’t need. Which I respect so much!
Thank you for everything you do!!! Maverick loves you (when he’s not being sedated?) lmao xxx

Dr McCloud is very nice and personal and professional. She makes you feel at ease and explains everything about your pets. This week I took my 12 year old Chihuahua and 5 year old Belgian Malinois. We were happy to have chosen this hospital.

Dr McCloud is phenomenal. Her staff is wonderful as well. She’s kind, empathetic and understanding. She goes above and beyond to provide excellent yet affordable care for her patients and I am so grateful. She is straightforward and honest and does her best to keep services fairly priced for families. My pets will never see anyone else.

I’ve brought my one and a half-year-old staffie there for shots and he was extremely nervous. We had to do chill protocol which on the third try seemed to work perfectly. Shout out to Jess and Rachel the Vet techs that worked so nicely with my dog. Dr. McCloud is also very caring and patient. Thanks for taking the extra time needed to make Huey comfortable.

My14yr old beagle just passed away from cancer. He had a growth on his ear that was'nt healing and we brought him to Dr. McCloud for diagnosis and treatment. She identified the growth as cancer- we had to wait almost 3 weeks for a surgical appointment with Dr. McCloud at the time instead of being referred to a specialty doctor ( which was not identified as an option in our conversations with Dr. McCloud. ) When she did perform the surgery she indicated she could have taken the whole ear off but didn't want to. A few months later a cancerous growth came back and again was surgically removed by Dr. McCloud and we were told to watch it and contact her if it started to come back. A follow-up with an oncologist wss not suggested at that time. Unfortunately, the cancetous growth came back quickly and he started to lose his appetite. We went back to Dr. McCloud but no suggestions were given on treatment or feeding him until I spoke to her covering doctor who suggested a nutritious canned food be used to feed him. No recommendations were made by Dr. McCloud on ways to get our dog to eat to keep his weight/ strength ( such as appetite stimulants or prednisone or other options.) Dr. McCloud said that she would have to find the cause of why our dog wasn't eating ( when cancer can cause loss of appetite.) When I asked Dr. McCloud what she would do if this was her dog, she said " It' s my business and I could do whatever tests I want " with a smile on her face. At this point , I stopped bringing my dog there because she didn't seem to know what to do for our dog. My dog died on October 31. I think he could have lived alittle longer if he had been treated in a more proactive way ( when he first started getting the cancer.) In hindsight, Dr. McCloud wasn't someone I could count on for guidance on wellness care and treatment options for our sick dog. When your pet is not well, there is a need for a doctor to provide objective support, compassion and the truth on his prognosis but this was sadly lacking with Dr. McCloud!

After trying multiple vet offices in Brevard through the years, I found AHOCB.I love this office. We have multiple pets and it gets quite expensive. AHOCB is not the least expensive, but they don't overcharge. They are up front with pricing and I've never had an issue with surprise fees.On top of that, I feel the employees are caring, knowledgeable, and always ready to go the extra mile for your animal. When I walk in with my youngest pup who has been there quite a bit due to some early puppy issues, they call her by name and come out to give pets and love. She adores everyone in the office and gets excited to see everyone.I've never felt pushed or compelled to do something I'm uncomfortable with for my animals in this office either. When my elderly pup was diagnosed with a slow growing cancer we discussed multiple options for her and I never felt compelled to make a specific choice because someone else felt it was the better decision. All in all, I highly recommend this office for your veterinary needs. ?
