My builder hired them to install new windows and doors on a custom home. There were multiple issues with the installation including missing mullions, mis-aligned mullions, improperly hung doors with significant door gaps, and several missed appointments. None of the hung windows actually slide up and down because all of the balancers were broken and it will take several weeks for new ones to arrive. 84 Lumber refused to take care of these issues unless I agreed to pay an additional trip charge and additional labor costs. Avoid working with this company at all costs.

Don't go here. Worse place. No service,no follow through. Takes months just to get someone out to look at an issue

We are working on building a sauna in our home, and the amount of selection and quality of service at 84 Lumber is bountiful.

I scheduled an appointment 2months ago for them to come put up some screens and when I finally get the appointment the screens are too small and when I called to speak to someone and a manager I was told that I have to wait two more months for them to send somebody out to fix something that they messed up on. I would not recommend this company to anyone and if I could give a zero I would.

If I could give this company 0 STARS I WOULD, BUT GOOGLE REVIEWS FORCES A MINIMUM OF 1 STARS. These people are absolutely horrible. Continuously rescheduling appointments on the same day, doing no call no shows. As a broker who represented a buyer on a transaction, I know for a fact this this company deserves 0 stars and takes complete advantage of clients. 84Lumber was supposed to have rectified an issue in my clients home that she moved into over 7 weeks ago. This is unacceptable. Please if you can find someone else to do the job- please consider other alternatives, this is not the type of company you'd want to do business with and or give your money to!

I apologize for the 1 star but they do not offer a zero. I did not have a choice but to deal with 84 lumber since that is who my builder used. They’re customer service is by far the poorest I have ever had to deal with. Broken appointments, missed appointments and so on. I have been trying to get a sliding glass door fixed since the middle of December. The customer service desk calls the day before the appointment to move the date of service and when you do not agree they push your service back another month. Please please please do not deal with 84 Lumber Melbourne location!! Find another source for your home building needs.

All around good experience ordering and getting a door delivered. Went above and beyond to help us, even fixed an installation problem that happened at the side of our contractor.

Overall, this company for many has done an excellent job supplying our local family-owned business. They have a variety of options, reasonable pricing, and many sisters lumber distributers to help find exactly what you’re looking for. Staff members are always pleasant, and facility is always clean. Whether the order is a large commercial project, or small residential purchase they’re at your service. However, there’s one man in particular that always goes above and beyond to assist you. If you want thorough, diligent, customer service asks for MR. BENNETT! He really takes the time to make sure you’re well taken care of no matter how busy they are. He answers all questions, has great suggestions, and if your pick-up order is conveniently better for you to be picked up at their sister store. He will go out of his way to set it up for you, which can save you a lot of time and money! Lastly, he doesn’t judge if you don’t know how to reverse a truck and trailer. Just directs you to the loop. - Thank you, 84 Lumber, Mr. Bennett, and team.
