We went to the OMF store in Melbourne FL. Chris was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. We bought a new queen mattress. We have an adjustable bed frame so the factory made special adjustments to our new mattress to help us get the longest life out of our mattress. The mattress was delivered on 9/20/24 by Herb and Christian. These men bagged and removed our old mattress before bringing in the new mattress. Herb and Christian work well together and were respectful, on time, courteous, professional and nice. All in all from purchase to delivery I am extremely happy with OMF. I highly recommend OMF to anyone in the market for a new mattress. Thank you Chris, Herb, and Christian.

After all the reviews and comments I read about The Original Mattress Factory, I was hopeful these mattresses would be a good purchase. I was wrong.
Most of the employees were very helpful. One of the delivery drivers was obnoxious which made the issue worse. The issue is their mattresses are not a standard size. They tell you they are, but they are not. We purchased two Twin Xl mattresses. They came in at 38" wide, but only 76" long, not the standard 80". So, short that they did not fit the frame.
I called in and they apologized, figuring they sent us Twin mattresses and would send replacements. Those replacements also came in at 76" and were delivered by the obnoxious driver who argued with me that a Twin XL is not 80".
Then I got a call from the factory manager who said he would produce them for us with an extra row of springs and make sure they are 80". When they came they were 78". This is important because they are too short for the Twin XL bed frame.
Needless to say, I cannot recommend this mattress company. The cheap mattresses we got from Amazon fit better than these expensive ones.
Buyer beware. It seems like a good thing to buy local and support this company, but their product is sub-standard.

1/13/2023, Almost dodged a bullet today. A friend of mine and I cameto pick up my newly built mattress from the store. Once arrived, we both noticed right away the mattress looked very dirty with Brown dirt stain on both side, (as if it was dragged across the floor at the store) even found piece of a stick or branch on the underside, I asked about the questionable packaging, since it looked nothing like a new mattress, no labels, no heavy thick packaging that would normally indicate that it’s a new item from a manufacturer, with tags or warranty information. Instead, the item was wrapped with the same light clear plastic the guy handed us earlier to lay on the bed of friends pickup with a strip of tape one side. My friend and I suspect that the guy at the store who sold me the mattress, swapped my new mattress for their old, a used floor model, since the floor model looked brand new compared to the one I was about to take home. Be very wary!!!

I bought a mattress that was suppose to be 11 inches. They're story is it measures from the middle out. I have a tape measure tHAT SAYS 8 1/2 INCHES no matter where you measure it from!!!. DONT TRUST THIS STORE! If it was 11 inches in the middle you would roll off!!!! Plus it sat 1/4 of the way up the bedframe! Does anyone tell the truth anymore!!! Highly dissatisfied!! Then NO returns which was NOT was TOLD to us!! They said there would be a 25% restocking fee! I pray no one else gets ripped off from this store! The excuse was word for word from the delivery guys to the store staff.(obviously rehearsed)! Then they tell you, you can exchange it and pay even more. If you can exchange it why cant you return it? Guess the dogs just got a 1000.00 bed, Lucky them!

We went to the original mattress factory on a Sunday. Debbie was very helpful and explained all of the mattresses to us. she also let us try them out. She was very courteous. And we like the product a lot. We bought two full mattresses. We highly recommend going there if you’re looking for a mattress. Thank you Debbie.

Very courteous service, all beds were explained to us on quality and service after the sale. We did buy the ultra firm package and have sleep on it for a week and so far love it. Delivery was on time as quoted and men that delivered were very courteous and quick to remove and setup. Thanks again for being straight shooters on quality and service both. Thank you, TC
