“My dog was sick with stress colitis and she wasn’t getting fully better so I decided to bring Jessie into the office as a new patient. The Doctor was incredible and so was the vet tech who assisted the doctor the whole time. All of my questions were answered, they provided tests on everything to ensure every avenue was pursued for my dog’s safety and care. The tests were completed and medicine given in a good turn around time. The front staff was kind and everyone on staff was compassionate and helped with any needs. My dog was comfortable and didn’t seem to be too stressed out. She liked everyone she met and as stated above, the staff was amazing with handling and care of my dog. Very accommodating. Overall it was a 233 dollar visit, but well worth it for all the services and medications received for my dog! 10/10 will be my new vet.”

“The check in staff, vet tech and vet were all kind and considerate. The vet tech was patient and gentle when my pup vomited and cuddled him while I paid my bill. Dr Hammet explained the results of my pups exam and answered all my questions. We discussed the options available to confirm and treat hiis diagnosed issue and provided the names of potential surgeons. The meds he ordered worked like a charm to alleviate my pups pain. This was my first visit and I’m happy to know they are 24/7 if needed.”
“The best Animal Hospital! Susie the front desk receptionist makes your practice, her caring heart and wonderful personality makes you feel so welcome! The vet tech with red hair (sorry forgot her name) was amazing she was so gentle with my dog and very understanding. Now the vet Dr. Melissa Floyd was the best vet I have ever had! She is unbelievable! Her bedside manner is so caring and loving! She treated my dog Sparkles with such compassion, took her time assessing her and answered all my questions. This was was the best experience Sparkles and I had at a vet! Highly recommend this practice!”

“Dr. Kelly met our dog for the first time today for a health review, vaccine update and treatment for fleas. My wife and I were impressed by the kindness and professionalism of Dr. Kelly and her team. Our dog seemed relaxed during the visit. Dr. Kelly provided excellent information about our dogs current health and the local flea situation here in Palm Bay, FL.
Just took our black and white cat after she showed up with a nasty shoulder wound. I felt the staff and Dr. Roddy treated our cat like they would treat their own cat, with appropriate affection and professional thoroughness. They really like their patients. Thank you for the professional care you gave our cat. It really meant a lot to my wife, myself and my cat. :)”

“I’m leaving two stars instead of one simply because we weren’t charged for services, which saved me a LOT of money. I had my girlfriend take our three cats to be fixed. I saw other reviews with the same complaint I’m about to leave, but I forgot to tell her about it to make SURE it doesn’t happen to us. Barring any future complications that may arise from an improper surgery, that we have yet to see, this is the only problem: They put our female house cat in the area where they treat strays, so they treated her like one. They clipped her ear without telling us, and did it shorter than I’ve EVER seen. They ALSO clipped our boys nails without telling us, and did it WAY too short. You get what you pay for, I guess. All in all, beats paying $500-$700 per cat at a vet clinic I suppose.
UPDATE: 4 stars now. I went back for a follow up and everything went well with the surgery. I was again NOT charged for services! Seeing them myself was nice, and for the price, it’s unbeatable. Just tell them NOT to clip your cats ear or nails unless you want that!”

“Got a same-day appointment for a very sick elderly cat. Dr Zimmerman took time to make a thorough exam (including inside the mouth) despite the cat behaving badly (claws and teeth). She prescribed a course of treatment based on her 35 years of vet experience - including using chicken baby food to entice the cat to eat - which has brought the cat through so far. Staff is easy to work with and tailors treatment to the desires of the animal custodian.”
“I took my chihuahua to get dental care done, knowing she was going to have to have several teeth pulled. I got a phone call a few hours later telling me she came through the surgery fine and could be picked up at three. Here it is 3 days later, and she’s running around like nothing happened. Everyone at Florida Aid to Animals is great with my dogs!”
“We had to bring our baby Bella here for a whole bunch of ear issues. She had surgery, and check ups for months. Every single visit was an absolute gem. Each and every person we worked with was so welcoming and loving towards Bella. We've never had a better experience! She loved coming to the vet (minus the beginning with the barking obviously). Visit after visit I was never once concerned with how her care would be. I can not speak highly enough about this place and the people that work there. The environment and the cost was perfect.

“I absolutely love coming here. I got my cat Maverick about 3 months ago now. He’s my first pet I’ve ever had on my own. He came to me snotty and with lots of upper respiratory issues. In true new mom fashion I brought him back to these guys like twice a month trying to figure out the problem. Dr.Mcleod explains everything and is so knowledgeable and she discovered that he has a cleft palate!
Dr. McLeod, Lourdes, karen, Sarah and the rest of the team have been so incredibly kind and patient with me. They are the best around! Each one of the crew is so knowledgeable, friendly, and compassionate. You can tell they care so much about each and every patient.
I 100% recommend them. I trust them wholeheartedly!!! They are reasonably priced and never try to force anything on you that you don’t need. Which I respect so much!

“Recently relocated to Melbourne from out of state for new job. We have two dogs -- 3 yr old Lab-Boxer mix and a 2 yr old Lab-Golden Retriever mix. They get regular preventative care including all shots as well as monthly NextGuard and HeartGuard purchased from our vet practice. We had an wonderful vet before our move so when we were given a bunch of recommendations from new neighbors and co-workers, we had a pretty good idea of what we were looking for -- a practice with experienced veterinarians, friendly staff, and not necessarily in a fancy/new facility (past experience was higher cost for care to help pay for the upgrades.) Melbourne Animal Hospital was the second vet we saw. The experience was almost identical to our vet back home and the cost was actually slightly less. We already have somewhere to board our dogs and do drop-off daycare when needed so any expanded services aren't something we needed to take into account. We just need good preventative medical care and someone we trust if an emergency comes up. Melbourne Animal Hospital meets that need for us.”

“Short review: top notch veterinarian establishment. Got me in the same day on multiple occasions, which is largely unheard of.
Long review: Just moved back into town recently and I've gotta say, Aloha is top-notch. I live 30 minutes away in Palm Bay and I will deliberately make the drive.
I have a 15-year-old kitty with beginning signs of kidney disease and needs her anal glands manually cleaned every 3-6 months. Today I called to schedule appointment to see what I can do because I'm leaving tomorrow for a retreat and wouldn't be back for a couple of days. Crystal at reception got me in if I could arrive within the next couple of hours of our phone call. When I arrived I was only there for less than 15 minutes. The fact that I was in-and-out is also very rare and is something I value and appreciate, especially at the vet. Because no one wants to spend their whole day in the waiting room.
Kiki also has flea allergies, and this is the first vet I've ever taken to who suggested Benadryl and gave Benadryl shots. Oh that's I have previously been to only have offered allergy shots which barely work half the time, well not working the other half at all. And to my surprise Benadryl did work for her, just takes a lot longer to kick in.
We're still new patients here, and so far I've gotta say I'm very pleased with how this business operates and the knowledge of their veterinarians. I've learned more in my two appointments than I have at other vets that I've been to in Orlando.”
