Matlatcha Post Office is an amazing secret! I ship quite often and when I pull up to the door, there is never a long line, CJ behind the desk is absolutely amazing and always able to help me find places, businesses, etc. on Matlacha… She is a treasure as well, always, always smiling! I drive from the north west Cape to this post office because of CJ!

lady is so rude the one with the purple hair harassing me! you have to wear a mask even if you are vaccinated so what’s the point of getting vaccinated??? super rude and not welcoming

First off you have to wear a mask. I am not anti-mask or one to believe covid is a scam, however, the reason for vaccines have escaped these people. Not to mention current CDC guidelines. Secondly, this is the second time in as many months that their debit card machine is down. Do yourself a favor and bring cash.

I've been to this location before. I never had a problem. I walked in today to mail a few certified letters. I was greeted by a woman in the lobby. She told me that I needed to wear a mask if I wanted to enter. I went to my car and got my mask. As I walked back inside, it dawned on me that she wasn't wearing a mask. Her reason? "I'm taking pictures." I told her that she should set an example to her customers if her policy is "You MUST wear a mask." The clerk at the counter told me the woman didn't have to wear a mask because "she's the owner". Ooohh, do as I say, not as I do. I was asked never to return.

Super quick and easy. Minimum lines. Located inside a cute but very small shop that offers souvenirs from Matlacha. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. One downside is they don't offer the ability to ship outside the USA unless you already have the customs form ... can be printed out online.

Great location. Makes it easy that I don't have to go to my post office which is 20 minutes away. Good little kiosk and they are able to do everything the post office can as far as sending mail. Definitely use them if you're in the area!

Great little post office / gift shop. Pick up a Matlacha T-Shirt and a greeting card while you're there. Drop off food for the local food bank and your old eyeglasses for the Lions Club, too.
