Island Visions is a GALLERY and GIFT SHOP. Art sold there is almost exclusively created by local Florida artists.

I really enjoyed stepping inside the world of Island Visions Gallery and Gift Shop. The art they display in the windows gets your attention, the colors, the shapes, the vibe. The store has a beachy, laid back vibe. I talked to the lady working here and she told me they moved the store to downtown Fort Meyers area recently. They initially had a store on the artsy Matlacha island but it got destroyed by hurricane Ian so they relocated here. I wish I would have gone to Matlacha art village but this store brings a bit of that world to you and to everyone in Fort Meyers. It is great to see work created by local artists. They have everything from pottery, home decor, paitings, sculptures, souvenirs, jewelry. Various styles, materials used for creating wonderful merchandise. Nice surprise to find this cute store and learn about their story. Great they reinvented themselves and keep supporting local artists. If you are in the area, stop by, you will find a variety of local art!

Lovely boutique on Matlacha with a few of their own parking spaces which is rare here. They had so many cool handmade items here like glass, wall decor, jewelry and more. Loved the earrings I found here and bought a pair to wear. Their walls art is pretty expensive so be prepared. It is a cool place to browse as well and everyone working here was super nice and helpful
