I wish I had taken more pictures. Truly, such a fun experience and something different to do on the weekend. The staff is extremely friendly and very helpful with what to pick and how to pick it. The food is extremely tasty and a must after picking. The wine is refreshing. A must visit.

We had some wonderful days at this farm with our son in the past. It has taken me almost an entire year to work up the gumption to actually post this review. But here it goes.Last spring we showed up for our third or fourth visit with our then 3 year old son. It had gone wonderfully and we decided to pop into the Cafe for lunch, since we told previously that our picnicking was not allowed (so they can drive sales at the cafe, of course). The woman in charge at the Cafe seemed nice enough (despite her making her feelings known about our child being on his tablet while his exhausted father and I tried to enjoy a glass of wine), and came over again when she recognized us. I brushed it off. Different generation, ya know. When I coaxed my son to sit back down instead of pressing buttons on the juke box (which was not on or not working, I am not sure which) and he refused in the usual way a 3 year old does, and the Cafe owner or whatever you want to call her holds up her index finger simultaneously saying "I've got this." No problem. I'm expecting her to lay some gentle, grandmotherly wisdom on all of us to get him back in his seat. Not. What. Happened. She promptly snatches him by both of his arms and practically slams him into the vacant chair, immediately points a finger in his face and begins scolding him. I cannot remember anything she said to him, and it wasn't much because I quickly crossed my arms protectively in front of him from my position behind his chair. The room was practically spinning for me at this point. I began shaking and all I can remember being able to say over and over as I kept my arms around my son was "no, no, no, no." Looking back now I realize that I was practically in shock. My husband (the punch first and ask questions later type when it comes to protecting us) was clearly trying to hold back an explosive amount of anger so as to not hurt someone in front of our son. He told her as calmly as he could that she needed to remove herself from our presence immediately. She began apologies as she started to recognize the gravity of what had happened and she quickly left. The crowded Cafe patrons were all witness to what had happened, and several tables with children got up and left.I rushed my son outside, explained that what had happened was not ok, that no stranger should ever touch or talk to him in that manner, and that he had done nothing wrong. There were pony rides outside of the Cafe that I was able to soothe and calm him with while my husband handled the situation in the Cafe. But he still cried the whole drive home.We left that day, vowing never to return. I do not know what on Earth possessed that woman to think she had the right to place her hands on my child, but I write this review today so she and everyone there may know that what happened to us over a year ago has been anything but forgotten. My son still asks to go to "the farm," we just tell him theyre closed knowing all of his memories of the place will fade (fine with me as long as he doesnt remember the incident with that woman.)Enjoy the farm if you must, but I absolutely do not suggest supporting the Cafe in any way. Maybe just bring your picnics and families somewhere else.

Won’t ever be going back. We came here with our kids to pick strawberries because we thought it would be a fun time. The strawberry picking itself was alright but the owner was terrible. While we were paying he was openly saying racist and rude things right in front of our kids including talking bad about kids themselves.“The only thing worse than kids is (extremely racist term that I won’t repeat).”We will never be spending money here again and I regret that we paid today. Just know that if you are going for a fun activity with your kids or if you are a minority that the owner doesn’t want you there. We will drive a few minutes farther every time now and never support this place again.

Yikes. The farm was alright but the owner said some incredibly racist comments to us, just in casual conversation. Luckily my son wasn’t paying attention. We had already picked our fruit, so we just paid and left asap, but I’m now embarrassed we spent any money there.

Visited for first time today and very surprised by the large selection of vegetables, herbs, flowers and fruits. Even better they have a small winery tasting room with a packed fresh baked desert case and breakfast and lunch foods along with beer and other refreshments. They do have baskets and bags available for use and plastic bags to take home but you can bring your own and maybe pruners for flowers as they do have a few pair to loan. The location had plenty of parking as you enter, the fields were easy to maneuver with rows of different veggies. Friends had been recently and picked blueberries and strawberries but today at end of season. Got some wonderful eggplants, bi-color corn, cherry, grape and regular tomatoes, green beans peppers and snapdragons we picked ourselves. There is also a selection of already picked items and found carrots, potatoes, onions, etc. where you check out. For $20 filled our cooler and in the restaurant too late for breakfast menu but enjoyed a lunch of chicken salad sandwich, flatbread, deserts and wine tastings and came away with some additional desert and wine. A nice outing for a few hours and think kids would really have fun finding and picking veggies.. On our visit it was adults and teens picking. We found the farm, restaurant and wine staff friendly and will definitely return as a nice scenic drive, easy to find, with good quality, well priced products just beyond Tampa.

Great place. Super friendly. Family Fun. Blackberry, blueberries, veggies, and flowers. And wonderful place to grab a bite to eat. Also, sample some wine and purchase locally.

One of the best hidden secrets in Hernando County! This is not just an amazing place to buy fresh local produce, but a place to build memories with your family. I take my Mom here for U-pick strawberries, blueberries and blackberries every season. We have a blast picking and then head into the winery to cool off with a refreshing glass of wine. The owner is awesome and they always post each week what is available with prices on Facebook. The blueberries are huge!!!! They also offer different flowers at certain times that are a nice touch and have market events. Overall, this is how you support local businesses and the quality of the products speak for themselves.

Great place to stop for picking fresh fruit and veggies at a good price. Currently have strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, lettuce, broccoli, kolrabi, zucchini, and much more. Take your kids to have fun picking fruit and tasting it too.

This farm is great. There’s fields full of berries and veggies. There’s also a stand with already picked stuff and other offerings . There’s a small restaurant on site. Didn’t see the menu but it was very busy. There’s also a small seated bar area for wine tasting. Everything was so fresh and we will definitely go back. The gentleman who checked us out provided a lot of information and was nice . Said it’s about a 16.5 acre farm. There was 2 tortoise and lots of chickens.
